Badger sat in a tree keeping a sharp watch for danger

Vaan left the castle and started on his journey. As he walked he ran the situation over and over in his head. It didn't make any sense. Kill the emperor but not steal anything or give a reason. He had no enemies. Vaan continued to walk. He looked over his shoulder as the castle disappeared into the distance.

Badger stood in the tree as Vaan aproached, she hissed

Vaan jumped back drawing his sword and taking a defensive position. "Whos there. Show yourself."

Badger landed infront of him snarling

Vaan shifted his foot and appeared behind Badger with his sword at her neck. "What do you know of the Emperor's murder?" he demanded

Badger took a finger and lowered his sword and leaned against a tree, "What's it to you?"

"I've been assigned to find his murderer."

Badger chuckled, "Yeah, Have fun with that!" She turned to leave

Vaan appeared in front of her "If you know anything please tell me." he said.

Badger chuckled, "I don't think you stand chance against him, It's a long way, maybe I know it, Maybe I don't!" She turned to leave

Vaan appeared in front of her again "Please help me."

Badger crossed her arms and sighed, "Your not going to let me go, are you?"

"Not until you tell me what you know."

Badger shrugged, "Listen, It's kinda hard to give directions!"

"Then bring me there yourself."

Badger shrugged, "I guess, But It's a long way, sure your up for it?!"

"I have no other choice. Its my duty to find the Emperor's killer."

Yup, just as I suspected, She thought to herself, He's an idiot! "Fine then, Follow me!" She led him to a small cave and went inside

Vaan followed cautiously "What are you? If you don't mind me asking."

Badger whistled and a small badger crawled out of the corner, looking at Vaan scared

Christina looked around trying to find a helpless human.

Badger picked up Stripes and turned to Vaan, "You ready?"

"Yes, but can you answer my question? What are you?"

Badger chuckled, "You reeeaaaaly don't want to know!"

"Yes I do"

Badger looked at him and smiled, "Vampire!" She petted Stripes

Christina looked around a spotted a few people and went over. She stared suspistiously.

"Your a vampire?"

"Yes, Is that a problem?"

"Are you going to drink my blood?"

Badger laughed, "Depends how easy hunting is on the trip!" Sh esmiled and headed out of the cave, she stopped at the mouth of the cave, "You coming?"

Christina walked to Badger, "Want to go hunting?"

Badger looked at her, "Kinda busy, I think the dude just went into shock!" She chuckled

"Ahh ya I'm coming." Vaan said.

Stripes crawled onto Badger's back and she began walking over the mountain

Christina approached a deer and attacked, she clintched it's throat as her eyes turned black, her body was not in her control no more.

Vaan followed. "So how far is it?"

Badger shrugged, "Let's just say I hope you can swim!"

"Ya I'm a pretty good swimmer. How far?" Vaan asked.

Badger smiled, "It's far!"

"Ok no problem." Vaan said with confidence.

Badger carried Stripes up the mointan, and at the top, all you could see was mountains, looking as if they never ended

"So wheres the water?" Vaan said looking around.

"Past the mountain range is the lake, then we have to cross the prairie, then the river, then another mountain range, then part of the ocean to a private Island near the mexico border!" Badger jumped on a log, "You coming?"
