Hawkkit walked into the middle of camp. He sat down and gazed at the sky. Hawkkit saw a bug in the dirt. Stupid bug. He thought. "You can never escape me!" He whispered under his breath. Hawkkit flung his paw at the bug, crushing it. He inspected the bug, turning it over with his little paws. He meowed with delight and picked it up with his mouth. He bit the bug. Hawkkit spit the bug out of his mouth. It was the most strange thing he ever tasted.

"Not so yummy is it." Muskstar said padding up to him.

"It tastes yucky!" Hawkkit told Muskstar. "Have you ever tried eating one of them before?" He asked the clan leader.

"When I was young like you. Yes." He chuckled.

Hawkkit jumped up and down. "Good! I'm not the only one!" Hawkkit meowed. He watched as another bug came next to his paws. Hawkkit jumped back. "No way I'm eating that again!" Hawkkit meowed.
