I just finished Nowhere
which I received for review from the author as an ebook. It was reeeeally good and a lot better than her other book that I won from a giveaway on The YA Book Club here on Gooodreads. I'm now reading The Odyssey
and The Hobbit
. Great classics! I wish I could read Jane Eyre with the group, but I absolutely have to read The Hobbit before I watch the movie with my family. I refuse to watch a movie without reading the book first. =)

I'm currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/71... and I really recommended, it's story about vengeance. Three men are the reponsible of his imprisonment, and thanks to his cell neighbor he becomes very rich. He will hepl the good people and destroy the bad ones.

I have read the abridged version of that, and fully intend to eventually read the whole one. Tell me: is it really good? One of the better classics you've read?

I'm currently reading The Odyssey (
) (which I am one chapter away from finishing; a WONDERFUL classic that is even better than more modern classics I have read, but still older) and Nevermore (
) (which I am pretty close to finishing, and it was my number one priority in 2013 because I am still super mad at myself that I didn't read it right when it came out! But it's pretty flipping awesome if you ask me ;) Might pick back up The Hobbit: Or There and Back Again (
), which I kind of let fall by the wayside a while ago when I was about a quarter of the way in.

I am reading Pride and Prejudice. I'm over half way through, and I really like the book. At first the book was so boring to me, but after the 150 pages or so, it picked up nicely.
Yeah. Once you get used to it, Pride and Prejudice is the best thing ever. And once I got to like the middle-end, I was totally in love and couldn't put it down. That is just such a special book!!! I <3 <3 it!!!!

The way the characters think and feel and act is all so realistic. Everybody is in each others business. It's so fun

I am reading
by DH Lawrence. I'm finding it a little heavy going and wish that Kate in the book would stop having fits over everything, but things could change am only 6 chapters in.
I'm currently readingThe Two Towers. This series seems to get better as the trilogy goes on. I am so glad that I didn't give up on the series after the first book.
I'm currently reading Wish You Were Eyre by Heather Vogel Frederick, a Mother-Daughter Book Club novel and the last in the series.
They read classics in the books. I've read Little Women, the first half of the Anne of Green Gables series, Dear Pen Pal, Dear Enemy, When Patty Went to College, Pride and Prejudice, the entire Betsy-Tacy series and the three companion novels, and Jane Eyre so I can read the same books they read in the books.
