History: born in Seattle, ran away from home at age 9 and found a snow leopard amulet that he never takes off his neck, found abandoned house in the woods and taught himself elemental magic of the air, learned he was a diviner (could see into the future) at age 11, brought to brooklyn house when he was found by Jaz on one of their missions at age 13

Appearance: Howard is light skinned, he has amber colored eyes and wavy light brown hair, he looks quite muscular and is quite tall, he usually wears a black or grey jacket with a hoodie on it and under it his favorite purple t-shirt and blue jeans, he HATES wearing the linen clothing, but when he has to, he does.


Personality: He's funny and kind, he loves to play pranks and make jokes. He is a dare-devil, he's usually being sarcastic and annoying people, although he is very kind and caring at times, and will defend anyone from being bullied. He loves playing all types of sports.

History: When he was two, a group of demons broke into his house and murdered his parents after they hid Howard. After that the authorities came and found him sleeping in a closet, some of the neighbors said they noticed red flashes of light. Howard was put into a foster's home, but them he ran away when he was fourteen, and after that a group of magicians took him to the Brooklyn House.

Type of magic: He mastered Fire Magic.

Weapon: He has a 30 cm. stick, that with a command turns into a 5 foot. ivory staff, He rarely uses his wand for defense so he doesn't usually take it with him. He uses an Egyptian dagger that has hieroglyphs to make it indestructible.

Other: He keeps his Staff strapped to his waist and his dagger strapped to the other waist. If he brings his wand, which is rare that he would, he would strap it next to his staff. (His staff is 30 cm. but turns into 5 feet. with a command word).

Name: Nightlock Grace, but goes by Night or sometimes Moon or Starr. Confusing!

Gender: Female

Appearance: Night has long black hair down her back and pale green eyes slanted oddly. She has pale soft skin and long nimble fingers. Night is tall and slender, very lean and wiry, with neat clothing along the style of white linen blouses and cheap ratty jeans. She always wears a necklace which is a silver pendant in the shape of a bow shooting an arrow. Her ears are pointed and the way her features are organised gives her a somewhat elfish look.

Personality: Night is antisocial to say the least. She barely speaks to anyone or even knows anyone. People automatically think she is shy but she isn't-just moody and angsty. She is very intelligent but quiet and reserved, not sharing ideas much. If she did she could be a brilliant addition to the House of Life.

History: Her parents were so poor they just dumped her in a dustbin. She was adopted and on her eleventh birthday found a transporter that took her to Brooklyn House. She's been there, learning magic and followint the path of Neith ever since.

Personality: Haven is sarcastic and witty. She doesn't like following the rules unless it suits her in the end. She seems arrogant and standoffish, but if you get to know her, she's really sweet and protective. She's not afraid to lie.

History: Haven went to a performing arts school in Manhattan and heard about the Brooklyn House. Sensing an adventure, she immediately set off to join them.

History: She was born into the house training there all her life she had nice parents who sacrifced themsleves on an attack in te House of light. They notcied the girl's powers after she fought off some of the demons who attacked by sommening a mighty sphinx. She was later trained to harness those powers

History: Neena used to live with her uncle and aunt until they were killed. Her parents were killed in a shooting when she was only three. After her aunt and uncle were killed she was sent to a foster home. She ran away from the foster home to come to the brooklyn house.
