Trisha, Gisbelle, and I are reading the second book in the Across the Universe trilogy! Feel free to join us if you've read the first book before, even if it wasn't with us!

Some words I don't really know what it means exactly, like chutz (I guess it means crazy).

So far I like the book. Elder is so sweet. It's sad that Amy doesn't love him like he does her :( But like she said love without choices is not really love.

Book 3 will be released in January 15, 2013.

I'm starting it today! :) Gisbelle, I don't like that cover either. It doesn't go with the rest of them. It's so boring :(

Ugh! that cover is awful!! Especially when you compare them to the ones I posted above (ugh, I love the one where they are looking into each other's eyes...*sigh*)

I checked my library and they don't have that on in the system yet so I wonder how long I will have to wait to get book 3 :(

Yeah, the language is kind of funny.
I think "chutz" is like idiot or jackass.

I love that Frix is their swearword. :) I love that Amy used it once too!!

Since Victria is not pronounced like Victoria, I don't think we can use it. But Kayleigh is acceptable for Kaylee :)

Yes, I love matching covers for my series collections. This one is just awful.

(view spoiler)[Oh I hate Luthor :( He is so mean. I haven't continued the book yet, still in chapter 21. I think he is the one who killed that girl in the rabbit field.

I hope Amy will be ok if Luthor attacks her again. Or Elder will come to her rescue and Amy finally loves him as much as he loves her :) That would be fantastic :)

right?!?! Wasn't it soo good! I think it was better than the first book too!! I love that it had a mystery in there along with each of them struggling with their new roles....

OMG! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! I freaking loved that book! I'm so glad I waited until now to read it so I only have to wait a month for book 3. I can't imagine having to wait an entire year! I want Shades of Earth now!
