Just finished listening to The Keeper of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen. It grabbed me from the beginning and never let go. I think this would make a good discussion book. I'm also fascinated by The Lives They Left Behind, but it's only and ebook. They actual book I can't put down is How To Capture A Countess by Karen Hawkins. Her books always fly by.

LOVED The Lives They Left Behind! I'm excited about asylum history in general and found this book after reading everything else MCPL had to offer on the subject. Moving, sad, beautiful. I know the author has to stretch a little and speculate at certain points to paint a full portrait of the lives of some of the residents, but I still enjoyed it tremendously.

Andie, I have been meaning to ask you if you had read Unholy Night. Did you like it? What would you rate it?

I thought it was well-written and action-packed, but it was also more serious than I thought it would be
