Johnny ran over and grabbed a medium sized tree. "This one."

He hugged her and called a worker over. He pointed to the tree and the worker got it set up on their car after he was paid.

The worker smiled back. "You're welcome. Merry christmas."

Johnny stopped walking. He recognized that voice anywhere. He turned around and stared at the worker, who was helping other people now.

"Is that...dad?" He asked her. "He sounded just like him."

The man looked around to see if anyone was looking, not knowing Johnny and Mia were watching. He pulled off his shirt to reveal the same exact scar across his chest that Johnny's father had.

Johnny's eyes widened. He ran over to the man and hugged him. "Dad."

The man smiled. "Hey Johnny."

Johnny brought the man over to Mia. "Hi Mia. Have our kids been good? Sorry for leaving so unexpectedly."

Johnny looked suspicious.

"I left because I had to help a family friend move before his house was destroyed in a flood. I have been trying to get home ever since."

"Because I thought you'ld be too mad at me."

"Dad, I missed you so much." Johnny told him.

((His name is Richard, Rich for short))

Rich picked up his son. "I missed you too."

Johnny yawned. and fell asleep in his father's arms.

Rich hugged her back. "You want to take our son? He seems to be able to sleep more peacefully with you."

"Now."

Rich nodded. "Yes."

Johnny was fast asleep. He looked so tiny due to his small stature.

Rich got into the driver's seat. "I'll drive, I think Johnny isn't going to want to move from that spot." He smiled.

Rich drove home.
