Since there are no time limits, they can be started at any time.
Thanks Diane! Everything looks so interesting, I'll be dropping in occasionally on those challenges!
It looks like fun, Diane. I'll probably do the "O Canada" challenge (and maybe the "Around the World in 80 Days--Jules Verne" or another trip later in the year).

Is it ok to include books read in 2012?

what a great list! thanks for posting the link, cool site
How about another challenge: Read one book for each Irish county. This would be similar to the UK challenge. There are 26 Irish counties, not counting Northern Ireland.I think this would be great fun and I'd definitely join!

That would be a great one to add for next year. I love reading about Ireland!

Thanks for the link! There is a challenge for Japan here, but it is not quite as detailed:

This works great, thanks!

There are just a few basic rules to keep in mind that will apply to all of these challenges:
*Since all the challenges are contained in this one folder, it is important that you do not create your own reporting thread. Instead, just post your progress in the comment box at the bottom of each challenge.
*Please make a new post with each book or group of books you read (instead of just editing your previous comment). You can cut and paste if you want to, but it is note required.
*Please attach the book link to the books you read so we can check out and add to our TBR piles what you've read (click "add book/author" link above comment box to find your book link).
