E readers - yay or nay?

I'd like one but like most people who are hesitant, I love the feeling and smell of a book. I suppose you can still buy books and use an ereader though, my mum does that as she can't always get the books she wants on her ereader.

Thinking it will be super handy for traveling though, is cheaper to buy books and quicker to buy them to :)

I got given one as a present, haven't used it much...it's good for free classics, PDFs and readability articles but I agree with sal, nothing beats a book

And nay, I love that reading a book takes me away from all the craziness of our technological world. I would only use one for uni readings so I can stop using 'saving paper' as an excuse to not do them ;)
