I recently read Dogs of Winter
. I thoroughly enjoyed it and keep pondering it in my mind. I am wondering if anyone else has read this and what your thoughts are. It is based on a true story. The writing is good and the characters well drawn.

i just finished The HUMMING ROOM. It was really good but just not original for a Newbery.
