A place where we can chat and talk about random stuff. You can talk about books, favorites, current events or what have you. It doesn't matter really. :)

I just got The Dark Knight Rises on DVD. And I'm going to start reading The Fault in Our Stars next week (maybe). I never read any John Green Books.

Hm. I don't know. I'm not a fan of YA books. I'm more into classics and other stuff. But okay. I'll give that book a chance. I have it in my bookshelf. It's just sitting there. So I want to read, but college is killing me. Thankfully the semester is about to end.
Yeah you were recommending me the Canterbury right? I still haven't gotten to it yet but I will soon enough. Just try one. How about Perks of Being a Wallflower?I want to go back to college. :p Too bad I can't.
Oh yeah! I forgot I recommended that to you. Well just give it a try. I read The Perks of Being A Wallflower and I didn't like it a lot. I enjoyed reading it, but that about it. I thought Charlie was awful. Why don't you go back to college?
There was something that annoyed me about Charlie. Yeah. I understand. Life is not easy anywhere, it seems. I hate work. All I need is money. I don't need a job, all I need is money!
Well we can't all win the lottery can we? :pCharlie is just... awkward. :p I guess I could relate to that a bit thats why I liked him. :p

Christy wrote: "Should I read 'The Night Circus' 'The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer' and 'Underworld (Meg Cabot)?'"I am not sure how you would feel after reading this book, but I think
is very confusing. I read it about a one or so ago. So many characters and the plots were very confusing and boring in my opinion.

Aha! :p Good thing I didn't buy that! It's too expensive here or I would have spent too much on a book I won't enjoy! Thanks a bunch Gisbelle! :)

I have to agree. I loved this. :p
As mad as I might sound after saying this but I
I like Adam and Juliette too. :)

I've watch LOTR countless, I even remember the dialogue. And when I listen to the score, I can picture its scene. See...I'm bubbling it now.
Sandee (loves Ash and Daemon)wrote: "hahaha. :p geez! i've never met anyone who is as crazy as LOTR as you. that's a compliment. :)"Thanks for the compliment Sandee, I know I'm crazy, most of my friends told me that a long time ago :D
I've lot stories about this crazyness. When I first saw LOTR The Fellowship of The Rings I took my youngest sister with me. At the time she was 7 or 8 yo and she never read the books. Because of my crazyness, I kept tell her about Tolkien and LOTR and watch the movie together whenever I need to relax. She moves to other city for college now but next Friday she will come home and guess what? She asked me to watch The Hobbit. So I'm gonna watch it for third times and I just realize that maybe I've brainwashed my youngest sister with Tolkien Lol

So...is it good?"Hi Heidi, it was GREAT, I suggest you to watch it on IMAX, a little bit dizzy in the beginning but so worth it. I'm gonna watch it for third time next Sunday and on December 29, my friends and I will watch LOTR Extended Editions marathon. I'm so excited about it. What's you fav part of LOTR movie?
Btw, I'm so glad I got friend who also LOTR fanatic in this thread
Sandee (loves Ash and Daemon) wrote: "Oh Rachmi will say its SUPERGOOD! hahaha. :) I haven't watched it yet but hopefully I will soon.":D you know me much, don't you? or is it just because I'm bubbling it for a few days? I hope you didn't close your eyes every time I'm bubbling it or never get tired reading it Lol
nah! :) i love LOTR rings too but not as much as you. :p hehehe. yeah i feel like I know you already. :p
Glad to know that Sandee. I'm happy you're my friend we really have similar books and I enjoy chatting and bubbling with you :D
4 actually. :p i stopped giving point something stars because it gets me confused. :)It was pretty good enough for me although it broke my heart a little because of Colt's mom.
I haven't reviewed it yet. Maybe this weekend. :)
I have to rate it now, although I haven't wrote the review. I rounded it to 4 and what happened to Colt's mom was sad but I'm kinda glad Nyrae Dawn made it, it seems believable for me.
yep. it would be a little unbelievable if she lived. i know its bad but it feels more real that way. :)I loved the ending. :p
Hey, I am glad to hear the Hobbit is good, I loved it reading it first, lol! Let's see my favorite part of LOTR...gosh there are so many! I love almost every scene with Strider cause Viggo Mortensen is so perfect, the scene where Eowyn is carrying Frodo to Rivendell when the river turns into horses is pretty fantastic, and that really bittersweet scene when Pippin is singing to the steward of Gondor, Oh, but maybe my two favorites are the morning at Helms Deep when Gandalf and Shadowfax are coming down the ravine, And then when they are standing before the walls of Mordor and Strider gives his NOT ON THIS DAY.. speech, that is pretty good:) Those last two may be my absolute two favorites, but there are soooo many! When we watch it again next week I will post any that I've missed. What about you? what are your favorites?
@ Heidi, you're right there are so many great scenes. Let's see, in FoTR I loved when the fellowship in Khadaz-dum, especially when they run from goblins through the bridge of Khazad-dum. I also loved when Aragorn release Frodo to go to Mordor alone, in the end of the movie. It was emotional scene to me. In TTT I loved when Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas surrounded by Ridder of Mark. When Eomer said to Aragorn: "What business does an Elf, man and a dwarf have in the Ridder-mark. Speak quickly!" also as you said when Pippin singing to Denethor II while Faramir went to battle field and the battle of Helm's Deep was epic.
In RoTK I think I can't decide since it was my fav but if I have to choose my most fav are when Arwen want to go to Undying Land, she saw her future son, Eldarion, also when Frodo prefer Smeogol and believe him more than Samwise so that Sam have to go back alone, both of it was emotional scenes. And of course, Aragorn's speech in Pelennor field was indeed pretty good. But I have memorable scene from RoTK, it was when Gandalf arrived in Minas Tirith. I was amaze by the scene because I have trouble to picture it when I read the book.
Btw, I believe Arwen who is carrying Frodo, instead of Eowyn. It was in FoTR and Eowyn was in TTT.
Whoa, I think we both are LOTR freak, aren't we? Lol
Rachmi, yes, at the end of FotR when Aragorn releases Frodo is a great scene and yes, how could I forget when Gandalf "dies" that scene outside is so moving, too. I also like a lot of the scenes with Gimli and Legolas, also when they are counting their--uhm, kills--in Helms Deep! I almost put the scene where Gollum crumbles the elven bread and then Frodo pushes away SAM for Smeogol/Gollum, that is a really good dark scene that always wrenches, and you are right I got Arwen and Eowyn mixed up:( it is Arwen carrying Frodo:) But when Eowyn feeds Aragorn the soup, that is a really good scene too! There are just so many:) I really love Gandalf, too. Can't wait to watch it all again next week, lol. And we're planning to kick it off by going to see the Hobbit on Monday.
