So im done with Opal!! ...who else thought that ending was OMG?? thoughts?

That is a terrible cliffhanger to have to deal with until July. :( But the book was awesome. Daimon is just so... sigh

i totally agree!! i just sat there in shock for like 5 minutes lol. then as amazing as the book was, i really honestly feel just depressed i have to wait months on end to know what happens. is that crazy?

July? Oh man I don't want to wait that long. I thought I was gonna die with that cliffhanger. I'm going to go into withdrawal. Daimon is just everything a book boyfriend should be. Don't worry Wendy I'll be depressed with you.

Kat we need at least six months of intense therapy after this book. He should of told her just like Dawson said he should and for him to scream it out while fighting just tore me up.

me too!!! it broke my heart! and then the last sentence.....

he should have told her ages ago, but it made it so much more heartbreaking that he said it when he did that was the point i just died :(

Just can't accept it! Re-reading it right now. My mind is going crazy thinking about what will happen next.

i am only 31% through as i have to write some essays for uni, i told my friends i wont be reading with in 24hours like usual. they forgot about that and started shouting about the ending so now i know the ending im gutted, but im still reading as i need to know how they get to that point. i feel depressed reading it as i know where its gonna end up.

this book made my heart race. It was so good! and so sad at the end. What am I going to do until July. UGH! Dying!

I think he told her before. I think it was in the sex scene, where he whispered something in his language..and then at the end of the book when Dawson found Beth, he told her the same words as Daemon had to Katy and that they were just as beautiful. So, I kind of thought that those words ment "i love you". Dunno, anyone agree, or was it just me? :D

Oh definitely, he told her. But I think it was gut wrenching to finally hear it at the end in a language Katy could understand.

I know and I totally agree. I was so heartbroken after reading the last pages. But it was kind of perfect in a way. My heart broke for Daemon and for Katy, but the way it was written.. it was just amazing :) I can't even explane. I thought it was sad, but beautiful. I really, really felt Daemons love like never before. I can't wait to read the next book from Daemon's POV. Hope it starts right after the ending of this one.

it was very gut wrenching...like it was ripped from his soul...and I agree, so amazingly written!

Well Blake is a douche. I hope Daemon gets him. Wasn't that weird that he punched his friend. Maybe that wasn't his friend, maybe it was just part of the plan to set them up, because he totally did. Simon? Well that is just weird, do you think he is a hybrid with an Arum? Maybe that's why the onyx didn't bother him at all. And Ash. Well let me just say she totally pisses me off with her comments. I can totally see her comforting Daemon. But if that was truly Blake's friend and he didn't know who he was, makes me nervous. Like maybe they will mess with Katy and she will forget Daemon. I mean there are 2 books left, both in alternating POV's so you know it will be torture.

I felt the SAME thing when I found out that the last two books were from both POVs.. I really don't think I can read Origin if they aren't reunited.

I don't really think that they will stay apart...I think they will reunite in origin. but time will tell about Blake and Simon and the other stuff. I hate that the wait is so long! such good books!

I actually liked the ending. I was sort of expecting something like that to happen. Hope the next book has more action and at a faster pace.

Something has to be up with Blake's "friend" and Beth obviously knew what, but nobody would let her speak. AAArghhh makes me so mad.
But I actually thought Daemon was going to be the one left behind... but I guess this is better in a way. I hope they get Katy back AT LEAST halfway through the book, I can't stand them not being together. First book all over again, not cool if that happens :(

ugh, that would KILL... can you imagine TWO books with them being apart? no banter, no "kitten" nothing?! god i can't... i just can't... that have to reunite midway or close to the end of Origin..something

After I finished Opal, I picked up Wallbanger which was a really funny and cute story.. it was the only way I could force myself to smile again.

Im reading that now and it is funny. I need something funny after Opal.

Wallbanger was pretty awesome too! not the same but, good.

I feel like I am making myself more depressed because for the past few days I'll go back and actually re-read the last few pages.. I can't help it. haha

I also thought it was strange when Katy said that her hair was in a perfect ponytail, not messy like the last time she saw her. Like "they" made her look presentable..Obviously Blake sold them out, but maybe Beth was supposed to escape with them.. I don't know, I'm driving myself crazy thinking about it so much :D

When I was in a funk I picked up the Dream Man series by KA. She is good to get you out of a funk. Loved that series.

i liked several of those...i loved her rock chick series and devoured them all in like a week or so...I just finished Knight and it was meh...ive been deciding if i wanted to try Motorcycle Man. I liked Law Man and Mystery Man but skipped the one with the undercover cop. I liked the motorcycle guys character but not the picture of him in my head with the mustache and stuff.

Wild Man was good (undercover cop one) but Mystery Man and Motorcycle Man were my favorite. If you liked Hawk you will love Tack. I loved him! Not sure who I like better Tack or Hawk (it's a toss up). You have to read Motorcycle Man, one of the best in series, Tack (sigh), awesome :)

Tack actually renewed my faith in biker dudes. After reading Undeniable, I was pissed for days. Tack and all the dream men were good therapy.

This is why i love goodreads ! I'm not crazy cause a book ruled my whole day :-) ! That ending was so horrible !!! Jennifer tweeted this morning that she'll right the last scene in daemons pov soon . Its gonna be so sad !!! :( and daemon is gonna go crazy they thought he was bad without dawson..... They are going to be tormenting his kitten i cant wait its way to long til july !!!

i know, i seriously needed someone to talk about how i felt after i read it and everyone in my real life thought i was crazy lol...it is good to know people are feeling what you are! yeah i can already tell that POV will be gut wrenching!
