If you have suggestions for a book of the month or a theme that we should explore one month, leave them here and we will be sure to bring them up.

Yair | 1 comments It may a bit too far afield for this group, but I rather enjoyed Toby Barlow's Sharp Teeth.

Ken (kgagne) | 5 comments I'd like to recommend Brandon Sanderson's Elantris , Dan Wilson's Robopocalypse , and K. V. Johansen's Blackdog as candidates for future books (unless they've been been previously voted down).

Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson was pretty good. Just listed to his newest book amped. Didn't care for it that much.

Roadside Picnic is pretty good so far. It's interesting reading a book written in 1970's Soviet Russia and still identifying with some of the characters. They are misogynists and many are alcoholics, but I blame that more on the 70's than on the Soviet Russia part.

Gillian Daniels | 2 comments The Kappa Child by Hiromi Goto looks great. It's described as Little House on the Prairie but with Japanese magic. I'm there.

Also, I've been wanting to read Perdido Street Station by China Mieville for a while. Think it would be a good choice for the book club?

I have been meaning to read Dan Simmons' Hyperion. A great theme month could be Japanese scifi, for that I would recommend All You Need Is Kill.
