Mason walked around Magnus' drawing room, looking at the various artifacts. "Thank you for allowing me to study with you," she told Magnus politely. She was excited to be his new apprentice.

Peter knocked rapidly on the door. Archer, Magnus's human subjugate(actually Camille's), opened the door. Peter burst past Archer and ran to the drawing room. He burst through the door. "Magnus!" he yelled a huge smile on his face. He had pulled the demon tooth from his arm and was holding it.

Mason jumped as a boy burst into the room. "Magnus...?" she said.

Magnus turned around. "Hello, Peter."

Peter was covered to blood and was a little dizzy. But he held up the tooth like it was a trophy. His blood dripped onto the white carpet of the drawing rrom.

Magnus frowned. "A demon tooth is hardly worth staining my carpet," he said. He looked at Mason. "Go fetch that and hand it to me, Mason," he said kindly.

Mason hesitantly walked up the boy dripping with blood.

Peter took a step back. "Who's this? We had a deal Magnus. You don't tell anyone."

Mason paused at glanced at Magnus.

Magnus sighed, "This is Mason, my apprentice." Magnus smiled at her fondly.

Peter glared, but it was fading. "You promised. I need this off me without anyone knowing about it,"

Mason looked at Peter with giant eyes, constantly shifting colors. "Hoestly, who would I tell?" she asked.

Magnus snorted.

Peter looked at Magnus. "I can't do this in front of anyone else. You know that,"

Mason rolled her eyes. "What if I cover my ears like this?" she said, placing her hands over her ears. "LALALALALALA!P

Magnus chuckled. "That one has a sense of humor, she does."

Magnus looked at Peter. "Want my help or not, Shadowhunter?"

Peter sighed. "Fine. I'll find another warlock in London. There's plenty," he said making a fist around the tooth so hard it looked like he was going to break it.

Mason sighed. "It's fine, Magnus," she said softly. "I'll go talk to that girl in trousers outside."

Ari heard and cursed softly.

Peter looked out the window. "Damn Ari," he mumbled. "Why does she have to be here!"

Mason looked at him curiously. "She's on the roof," she said. "It's above here. Easy enough to eavesdrop when someone forgets the blocking spell." She look pointedly at Magnus.

Damon goes up to the door and see's Ari, he groans inwardly, he thinks and i thought i told her to not get involved. He shakes his head frustrated, but also curious as to why Peter has gone to so much effort. Damon says 'Peter, what th hell is going on now?'

Mason stared at Damon before she left. "Who are you?" she asked.

'Damon, im Peter's prabatai, who are you?' he says both amused and curious about the situation.

"I'm Mason, Magnus' student," she said. "And that's not what I meant." She left.

Damon looks after her, only wondering what she meant for a moment before going up to the front door and knocking, he hoped Peter hadnt gotten into any trouble, although knowing him...no Damon thought if Peter were truly in trouble everything would be fine, they would make it right together as brothers, just as they always had done.

Ari looked down from the roof. "Mason?" she called quietly.

Mason appeared on the roof.

Damon hears Ari on the roof and calls up to her 'Ari, by the angel, what the hell are you doing?'

Ari grimaced. "I got bored after you left me," she said.

'So you decided to stalk Peter?' asks Damon slightly amused by the idea.

"No, I decided to go to the Devil's Tavern," she said. "Peter just happened to attack a demon, then run off screaming."

'yeah i was there for that, it's not exactly uncommon to see Peter get attacked or attack others, demon or otherwise, i only step in if he needs me' says Damon honestly 'and i didnt leave you, i was trying to help, but if your insistant on getting yourself into dangerous situations then at least let me help you'

Ari set her jaw. "I'm fine up here with my new best friend Mason."

'Right thats it' says Damon frustratedly, he rings the bell and this time Archer does answer the door, Damon doesnt wait to be aksed inside, he walks boldly ast and shouts out 'Peter for hells sake why did you attack that demon like that, you know Ari is stalking you up there with Mason', Damon see's Peter in the living room with Magnus looking rather desperate.

Magnus looked at Damon pointedly. "Interruptions are not looked highly upon, Mr. Herondale."

'So true, and yet im here so unless you he some sort of time machine that culd take us back abot 20 seconds ago then we might as well carry on as we are' says Damon, the slight humorous look back.

Mason and Ari walked through. "Magnus," Mason said. "Could probably do that." She had obviously overheard them.

'I dont doubt it from what my cousin told me' says Damon eyeing Magnus with a dubious gaze, 'but still, where Peter goes i go, he's here, so i am too'

"I'll never understand why Shadowhunters are so inquisitive," Mason said.

'It's because we don't live very long, we have to pack everything in, in such a short amount of time, especially if demons take a liking to attacking you like they do with us, i suppose we look tasty' says Damon with a shrug.

"Absolutely delicious," Mason said wryly, causing Ari to laugh.

Damon cant help but smirk slightly at Mason, 'oh bloody hell, here comes the eating shadowhunters jokes' he says.

Mason shook her head. "I don't overuse a joke. It causes it to lose its charm."

Damon nods non-committely and asks 'what did you mean when you asked who i was?'

Mason shrugged. "I don't remember," she lied easily.

Damon knew she was lying but he felt conflicted as to whether he wanted an actual answer, when it came to his past Damon didnt like to think about it too much.

Ari frowned at both of them. "What?"

Damon looks at Ari and says 'It is nothing really Ari, just a misunderstanding of things' he eyes Mason, with detached amusement.

Mason looked at Damon. He didn't seem present.

Damon shakes his head briefly and is left feeling slightly hollow. He smiles suddenly at Ari and says 'if i'd known you would end up getting involved in all of this then i would have just brought you here myself, have you met Magnus Ari?' asks Damon.

Ari nodded. "He visits my uncle often," she said. Magnus nodded.

Damon looks suspiciously at Magnus, Benedict wasn't the sort to be trusted, he knew that if nothing else but he didnt say so, he felt it unwise. 'well he helps a lot of people' says Damon with raised eyebrow.

Magnus cut him a hard look. "You look surprised," Mason said.

'Im never suprisd anymore, i cant afford to be, a suprised shadowhunter is usually a dead one, or soon to be' says Damon still looking at Magnus with renewed interest.
