One of the funniest books I've read. Having lived in several shared houses when I was younger, I completely identified with it, even though the nearest I've been to Oz is watching 'Neighbours'. JB is an extremely witty writer, and is very good at detailing the humour of the situation, which forces random oddballs to co-exist under the same roof. I first read it 10 years ago and continue to quote from it, in the hope of finding fellow travellers...
Awesome to see people are reading this outside Oz. I actually helped the publisher put together the ebook version for Kindle, and am working on some more books by JB in ebook at the moment. You'll be pleased (maybe) to know JB no longer lives in squalid shares, but in a swanky architect-designed house. Good things come to those who wait...
