I love DARGON BALL Z. It is an. Awesome show!

the beginning of dragon ball z was mesmerizing, but i found that as the series progressed, it was less to be desired of. it was dragged out in such a way, the fights and "sub-fillers" took away from the mysticism that was originally engraved into this sci-fi fantasy. when all those elements are stripped though, you're left with an intriguing plot, and questionable material, as well as interesting philosophical implications.

the one thing that really frustrated me was the amount of time that was taken to "get to the point" in the series (ie: battles and such were dragged out far too often).

but other than that, i loved it! that was my entire childhood! and watching the series again as an adult - there was a lot to gain from it! :)

True, in the series the fight scenes took for ever. I think that is because they stuck very close to the books. Thing is, while reading they totally don't feel long...
Still, I loved (love) watching Goku fight, so I never minded.

They bragged about power for 3 episodes. If it wasn't for that it was awesome!
