Liz walked into the dank alleyway which the werewolf boy pointed them to.

Tod walked over to the body, bending down nex to it.

Liz pulled a grimace. "Been here a while."

He nodded. "at least a week, maybe longer..."

"Blood from the mouth is true..." she inspected "How was he killed like that?"

Tod frowned. "Maybe the Fey had something to do with it?" he said. "They could have used a glamor to frame it on us. If the vampires and as killed each other off, it would give them a lot more power..."

"That's true. Should we check them out?" Liz put her hands on her hips and looked over at him.

"It's not liy they'll admit to anything, but that would be our next step."

"To the fey court then." Lix sighed loudly, stepping away from the body.

Tod stood up. "Let's see if we can find anything out..."
((can you make the Fey ruler?))

Liz nodded and exited the alley.

((acually make, go ahead. I'm a mod and say it's fine!))

TOd sighed, heading for the park where they'd find the Fey.

Nia followed the others onto the street

Ryder followed after, watching his sensor and looking around for the demon.

Aly also followed, scanning the area around them.

"I think we have some evidence here." Ryder noticed a slimy trail along the sidewalk.

Aly bent down beside it. "What do you think it is?"

"Can't tell which demon for now." Ryder smirked, touching his serpah balde.

"It does look fresh though..."

"I don't want to meet the thing that left this gunk..." Nia said with a wrinkled nose

"That's the worrying bit. This place isn't inhabited, is it?" he searched the buildings which looked pretty much abandoned.

She sighed. "So what should we do?"

"Look around, see if we can find the demon?" Nia suggested

"Wait, wait...sensor is going off the charts. It's definitely here." Ryder sighed.

"Oh boy," Nia said sarcastically

ALy pulled out her blades, looking around.

From above, a demon leapt down onto the trio, his mouth snapping and his claws reaching out to maul one of them.

((Sorry, I don't know my demons much so I'm just improvising))

Aly's eyes widened in suprise, she lept out of the way, glad she'd put on the agilitly and speed runes before the left.

Ryder managed to duck away in time too, standing quickly afterwards and pulling out his seraph blade.

Nia jumped to the other side of the demon so that it was surrounded

The demon hissed and spit out acid as it tried to escape the trap. Luckily, the spit just burned away the road and none of them. Ryder gulped. "Any ideas?"

"Do they have an anti-acid rune?" Nia asked hopefully

"I wish. Let's just kill it and get over with it." he sighed and threw his seraph blade right at the demon, hitting it squarely in the back, but it seemed to have no effect.

Aly swallowed nervously when she saw the blade had no effect...what were they going to do now?

Nia winced, "Uh..." What were other weak spots?!

"Anyone brought other weapons? Bow, arrow? Whip?" Ryder called out, looking overhead. There were fire escape stairs on top of them, but otherwise in this alley, the unremarkable brownstone building walls rose five stories high. Not much fighting room.

Aly shook her head. "All I have are my blades...Nia?"

"I have my sword, my knives, and a few chakras." Nik pushed off of the wall he was leaning against. "I'm pretty sure I have a few seraph blades as well." He lunged at the demon, and a silver flash lit the air as he drew out a blade. "Camael!" He called, naming it, and thrust it into the creature's back. Nik's mouth fell open in shock as it passed through it cleanly, leaving the skin unblemished, and unscathed. "By the Angel, what is this thing?"

Ryder nodded. "No idea. Looks like we're not as equipped as we thought originally. What do you think can take this thing?"

"Not Seraph blades," Nia said

"We're going to need to think smart." Ryder looked around, seeing it had four legs, no tail, snapping jaws and a heavily armoured back. It also spit acid.

"Any ideas?"

"If we can trap it in the metal fire escape, we can buy ourselves more time." Ryder pointed out, looking up.

"Brilliant!" Nia said

"Let's do it." Aly said, smiling slightly.

"Someone lead it up, we'll block its way down." he began, running to the ladder and leaping, catching it with his hands and pulled it down so they could run up it. "Up we go." he murmured to himself as he took the metal stairs in pairs, finally standing a few floors above them. "I'll distract." he called out, ready to initiate the plan.

Nik smacked the demon in the head. "Come on, you." It hissed and began to follow him slowly.
