I love this series, but in each one at the end of the book they have such a long ending that drags on in some parts and it kills me.

I fell in love with Nevermore, wholeheartedly-someone-drag-me-away-so-I-can-get-some-sleep in love with it. I was so excited for the second one and then I got it and I don't know what happened, was I expecting too much or did it fall flat to anyone else as well? I'm still going to read the last one, because I love Edgar Allan Poe almost as much as I love J.K. Rowling, but I sincerely hope that it picks up the pace a bit for a great finale.
I agree with you, I LOVED Nevermore and Enshadowed, but for a while it was taking me FOREVER to finish Enshadowed. It seemed like it took too long for Isobel and Gwen to get to Baltimore and to the graveyard, but once they did things really picked up. And who else felt sad about Pinfeathers??
