I don't believe they meant lived comfortably in Texas. I think they meant if you wanted to herd all the humans into Texas we could fit but we'd be packed like sardines

your link doesnt say anything about global warming,energy depletation.....just because we have enough space to stand on doesnt mean overpopulation is a myth..also animals habitats are being destroyed due to the need for more land,wood etc.. basically resources are less people are more...get ur facts straight

Definitely, the world is overpopulating! You can not judge the situation of the whole world from your country's perspective only. There are lots of problems related to this issue of overpopulation. It is, in fact, one of the mostly debated topics these days!

I believe that the world is overpopulating. It has become one of the major economic problems. The thing is some people don't know about this fact or some act as though they don't know about it, to increase their own kind. Yeah, i agree with Damini, that you cannot judge the situation from our own country perspective. And, yes there are a lot of problems relating to this. Even global warming, green house effect, mainly scarcity arises due to this fact. These days most world organizations are looking for solutions for this problem. As students we must support any organization to overcome this problem.

Yeah..Whoever thinks overpopulation is a myth i invite you to India,the land of a billion people..

I dont think the world is overpopulating in Ireland there is 1000s and 1000s of miles of free space and think about the amount food we are wasting plus if there is more people then we will be able to grow more food.
Overpopulation concern has been going on for like a 1000 years.
So if it even did happen it would take 1000s of years.
