Tani | 15 comments Hi all,

I am new to goodreads and totally up for this challenge. If it keeps inspiring me through the year, I may even start on some Steinbeck...

Can't wait for Jan 1st now!

Tani | 15 comments So, the to-read-list sort of got longer while sorting throught my piles. Darn...

Tani | 15 comments Third part of A Song of Ice and Fire finally finished. Two more - argh. The ending of this one was, however, rather nicely done.

Have you tackled any Steinbeck yet? I read Cannery Row earlier this year for this challenge. I really wish I had read it before Tortilla Flat which I read late last year as I think I would have appreciated Tortilla Flat more. I've got The Grapes of Wrath and The Winter of Our Discontent in the stacks too, but I probably won't get to them for awhile :-/

I have the audio of the first three George R.R. Martin Game of Thrones titles, but even in audio they're chunksters! My To-Be-Listened to queue is as embarrassingly long as my To-Be-Read list!
Do you think you'll manage to get the other two GOT titles in this year?

I also have a couple of Georgette Heyer novels in my stacks. They haven't "called" to me yet though! I like historical fiction and historical romance and it sounds like they would appeal to me :-)
