Here is my hybrid therory. What do you think?

So I was wondering what made Simon and Carissa so different as hybrids. Katy describes them as having dead and vacant eyes, well so do the Arum. Maybe these crazy hybrids are created when an Arum mutates a human and it becomes unstable. After all, the DOD can't tell the difference between Arum and Luxen and... What if Chris is Arum not Luxen? It would explain why Blake knocked him out first before rescuing him and why Beth was reluctant to leave with him.

I thought Simon was a hybrid Arum too cause the Onyx didn't affect him. Carissa I think was a Lux hybrid cause he was wearing Opal which amplifies the Luxen's ability, question is who gave her the Opal. Chris, I was wondering if he even mutated Blake or was it part of the set up. My theory is I think Luc will pay a factor in the next book and if I have to guess I think Officer Lane is going to help Daemon, I just have a feeling he is a good DOD.
Yeah I thought it was Arum too I don't know how it can be anything else as the hybrids weren't affected by the onyx, if chris was an arum it might explain why Blake was allowed to pass them (being linked to them) and why they were even there anyway

i think because as i see it Arum and Luxen are the exact opposites of each other, (what i mean is that they are opposite because they are made of the dark but other than that they are the same right?) its possible that there are arum hybrids and as i see it arum and dod were working together so it is likely that they made arum hybrids and because they are hybrids they use there power at any time and still be strong.

I just asked Jennifer L. Armentrout if Chris was an Arum on facebook and she said no. So now I have no clue why Blake was working with Arum!
im glad im not the only one who thought there might be Arum hybrids. i think that Chris was Windexed since he couldnt remember Blake. i agree that Carrissa and Simon were Arum hybrids. its really the only thing that makes sense. they said that Opal could affect Arum if they had enough Luxen essence. by the way, i was so sad when Carrissa exploded! so did not expect that!
i have this weird theory that they erased simon and carisa's memories in order to make them into fighting machines..and that they're now gonna do the same thing to katy where she'll forget about damon and "fall" for blake. ik its sort of out there but..
Here's my theory's. I agree, I think that Simon was a Arum hybrid, but I don't think that Carissa was. I think she was a luxen hybrid, because remember that fight scene in Katy's room she was throing balls of light. So, I don't think she was a Arum hybrid.
My other theory is that the Arum are working for the DOD and Blake made a deal with the DOD. So, the DOD told the Arums not to touch BLake. Thats my theory.
