I loved the Once and Future King. One of the few books I've read twice, along with The Lord of the Rings, which I've read three times over the years. I sent three copies of The Lord of the Rings to my then boyfriend in Viet Nam. He said it was the most read book there and got passed around so much they couldn't keep a copy together.

My favourite ever series of books would have to be Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. I've read them all more times than i can count except for the latest one "Cold Days" which i've only read the once (so far). They have everything i love in a complete package.
My favorite could be the one I'm reading now (11/23/63) but I would have to say ultimately anything by Terry Brooks and The Help.
Nothing to be ashamed of there. I like Anne Rice, and that kind of style can go down well after reading something starker ;~)
I agree with Victoria. You have nothing to be ashamed of there. Anne Rice also inspired me to pick up the pen.
