Seymour Manor (Seymour Family Residence)

((I have to attend tomrrow D: Save some action fo moi. I'm not feeling well right now though I'm still on for a bit))

Judith Valentine walked to the big and beautiful hall with her brother, Julian and her mother by her side. Today she wear a square neckline short sleeve gown with light peach silk and soft white lace that make her look more peaceful despite her impertinent attitude. Well, that's what her mother told her anyway.
Her hair has been arranged with elegant updo and for the first time in her life, she like her hairstyle.

She never meet Lady Jane Seymour and feeling weird when her mum told her to come.

Well, at least Erin and Annalisse will be here, and maybe Conner too.

The whole ride to Seymour Manor was filled with argument between the Castle siblings, "Maybe I should have worn a more subtle hue. Peach or pink.. " Catherine complained which Conner supplied with a distracted answer, "Its fine. Its fine..."

When the carriage stopped, Conner help his sister down, "I forgot to tell you something. I talked to Julian.." Conner adjust his cravat and said nervously, "I told him I'm courting Judith."

"You what?!?!" Catherine might have shouted her surprise, she settle with just straightening out her skirt. Her night blue gown had a sweet neckline and had it match her white pearl necklace, "You did what?" she asked in a more quiet voice, "Well... I guess its about time you settle down but you just met Judith..."

"Just let me handle this. Trust me." Conner shrugged and half-pulled his sister in the Seymour House which was starting to fill with people.

"You told me never to trust men who say that." Catherine rolled her eyes at him and then grabbed a hold of Conner hand before he can disappear through the crowds, "Oops.. Stop. I have to introduce you to Jane.. I met her this morning. Before you find Judith, be nice to Jane, alright?"

Conner raised a eyebrow at his sister, "I'm the nicest person you've ever met, Catherine." he said and then went off to find the hostess of the soiree.

Marcus have been leaning back at the wall for a few minutes since he arrived. He crossed his arms on his chest and survey the huge crowd. He haven't seen anyone he knew, well except his older sister, Victoria who he can hear the laughter from where he stood. And that was a feat since, he was a few meters away. He sighed and waited a few more minutes before he went to search for Conner or Catherine.

"Im going to leave you now." Julian told Judith but before he can walk away Judith pulled his sleeve.

"Why are you like this? You always leave me alone and let some weird with no teeth gentlemen to talk to me while you go kissing some pretty lady. That's not fair." she huffed and whined. Crossed her arms around her middle.


He cringed at her words. "You can't talk like that in here, Judith."

"Talk like what?"

"Like a monkey."

She swatted his arm. "I hate you."

Judith smiled at Jane. A bit awkward. "Nice to meet you. I'm Judith." when she don't know what to say anymore. She started to nudge Julian's elbow for help.

Julian smile and the blonde lady. "And I'm Julian. Judith's brother." He bend a bit take the girls hand and kiss the tip of her finger.


Judith rolled her eyes. Gentleman much.

"Let's get over this and done with." Conner grumbled as he let his sister pull him across the room. He did nodded at those few he knew from the crowd. And even saw Marcus from the corner of the large ballroom.

Catherine caught Jane's eye and wave too. She saw her talking to a pair and recognize Judith and Julian, "Oh great timing." she sighed and walked them over to Jane, "Good evening." she greeted and smiled brightly.

"Thank you." She smiled politely. And then she stay quiet until she caught her brother eyeing her with the expression that said, 'You should compliment her dress back, monkey'.

She smiled at Jane while looking at her dress. Well, the dress is beautiful. "And I like your dress to. Lets change our dress. It will make my mum crazy." She grinned at the image of her mother furious face.

Julian started to laugh. An uncomfortable laugh. "She's kidding, of course."

She beamed when she saw Conner and Erin. "Good evening, Erin. How are you doing?" Again, she pretend to ignore Conner.


Julian saw Marcus and look back at Conner. "I don't know Marcus's here. When did he arrived?"

Conner smirked, noticing that Judith didn't meet his eyes, so he just focused on Julian, "Hmmm. Oh Marcus. He just arrived this week. You know him." he shrugged and turned to the lady he haven't met, "I believe you already met my sister and you must be Jane, I'm Conner Castle." he smiled at her and also kissed her gloved hand. "Its a pleasure to meet you. My sister said you look lovely and my surprise that that description didn't do you justice. You are positively enchanting."

Catherine looked at Judith then to her brother. Noting that they aren't talking or even acknowledging each other. Trouble, she thought and smiled at Judith, "I'm fine. And you?" she asked, "I see you met Jane. Its good to see you again." she said to Jane.

Judith puffed her cheek when she heard Conner talking sweetly to Jane. "Rake." she said under her breath.

Julian smiled when he looked at Judith's face. He patted her back softly. "Jealousy doesn't suit you. It makes you look more like a monkey."

She put her index finger on her lips and speak as quiet as she can. "Im not jealous."

"Oh," She looked at Jane and smirked at Conner. "Look like you need to polish your flirting skill."

"I don't flatter. Just telling the truth." he grinned at Jane and ignoring Judith, she did started the avoiding.

"You are jealous." Catherine said laughing and shaking her head.

When he saw Conner with Julian, he went to join them, two ladies he haven't met with them. "Julian." he nodded at him and turned to introduce himself to the hostess of the party. "Marcus Ross." he answered as stood by Catherine. "Pleasure to meet you."

"Who? Me? No way!" She answered but her face actually getting redder because of embarrassment. How can they tell if I am jealous?

And now Conner started to ignore her back. She just shrugged and turned to her brother. "Well, you can find your ladies now. I'm going to find Lady Annalisse and plan some prank to those old lady. Do you want to join us, Erin?" she asked sweetly.

Oh, handsome. She raised her brows and nodded at Marcus Ross.

Catherine looked at Marcus, "You'll be tagging with me the whole night? You do owe me a dance." she asked him and answered Judith too, "Yes. Of course. If you don't mind me coming with you. Oh, I forgot. Judith, this is Marcus. Marcus this is my friend Judith and Conner's fiancee."

Conner elbowed Marcus, "Been here all along?" he asked

"Oh, then I will just put a rock in her drink and let her choke to death." She answered with a shrugged.

Julian nudged Judith arms. "You can't do that. It'll kill her."

"Oh, Im just kidding." Judith answered back with a grinned.

"Fiancee?!" she shrieked before she can stop herself and looked up at Conner in horror.

"Pleasure to meet the one who captured Conner's cold heart." Marcus smiled at Judith reassuringly.

Catherine laughed again, "Oh dear. Weren't you too talking about wedding the first time you two met?" she asked

Conner shrugged, "I feel loved." he scoffed with Judith's reaction.

"Erm.." she looked at Julian for help and when he just shrugged, Judith looked back at Marcus. "His heart's cold? I don't know that. Do you have any advice on how to handle coldhearted man?"

Marcus chuckled, "I'm sure you already know what to do." he answered, "Right Erin?"

"What?" she looked at Erin and Marcus. "I dont know anything."
But the she caught Conner's sullen face and sighed. "Do you want to dance, oh my mighty fiance?"

"I don't want to but since you ask, I'll be happy to accept." Conner smirked and took her hand and led her to the dance.

Catherine just smiled as she watch them go dancing.

She walked with Conner to the dance floor and smiled with mocked sweetness. "I realise I didn't ask about your health today. So, how are doing my dear fiance?"


Julian grinned. "Looked like they are going to battlefield instead of dancing floor."

"I'm fine as long as you are too." he said bowing his head before he took her hand and pulled her close, he swayed to the music with her. Waltzing across the room, he knew everyone would be watching them, "I hope you weren't that serious in killing someone this evening. I'd like it every much that my fiancee doesn't spend time in jail.

"Oh, if I kill someone, believe me if I say they will suspect you more than me. See this innocent face," she smiled brightly and batted her lashes. "They will never know it was me."

((I'm sorry guys, I was asleep the whole day cause I'm really sick. Caught a cold just yesterday. I feel awful but I'll try to reply here. x( ))

Conner chuckled loudly enough that some dancers look at them, "Oh love.. That I can believe." he pulled her closer, "Hmmm... If I didn't know better, I'd say you're marking your territory."

3.) Exhaustion...blame school
4.) I'm might catch a cold soon. I'm not sure.))


Kharisma entered the Seymour Manor gracefully. Honestly, as much as she knew, she did not want to be here. It was her mother's idea, who convinced her to go out and meet new people. Two locks of her hair twisted and met at the back, while to rest of her red hair fell to the middle of her back. She wore a dress that was once her mother's--a strapless, royal blue, ball gown with small rhinestones embedded around the upper abdomen. Kharisma managed to have a short conversation with a girl, but it quickly died. The music played and she was absorbed in the abundant crowd that was dancing. Unsure of whether she would dance or not, the decision was already made for her as someone grabbed her hand.

Vincent casually strolled into the manor. Calm, yet still dignified. His hair was in its usual somewhat messy hairdo, but managed to keep the charm up an extra notch. The male strolled over to the farthest part of the ballroom. He was leaning against the wall, with his arms crossed over his chest. Vincent watched as the guests waltzed across the expensively tiled floor. His eyes scanned the crowd as if he was looking for someone, just the right someone.


((Yeah...they're terrible. It sounds more straightfoward then....enchanting and nice to read XD))

"Marking my territory?" she scoffed. "Why would I do that?"
Can he actually tell?

Marcus turned to Catherine who was still watching her brother. He offered a hand to Jane and smiled, "Can I have the honor to share a dance with you?"

Conner smiled looking down at her, "Why don't you tell me why?" he countered back, "You don't have to be jealous, sweetheart. Not to point out the obvious, I ask your moody brother to court you and that wasn't easy. He even ask me if I was crazy. I'd say you two have a strange relationship for a brother and sister."


Catherine grinned when she heard Marcus asked Jane to dance, at least he was asking someone other than her to dance. She discreetly looked around, caught someone's eye and smiled back.

"Im not jealous. Plus, why should I be jealous. You can flirt with anybody you want." She half huffed half sighed.



Julian looked at Catherine and raised his brow. "So, want to dance?"

"You know what they say, be careful what you wish for." he said seriously. Then the music ceased as the dance ended. Conner stopped and gave Judith one last bow before he walked away. When he thought she was enjoying her time with him, she ends up saying the wrong things. He sighed and find his way out the dancing hall and out a garden to cool off.

Catherine gave Julian a look, "Not really. Are you asking me?" she tried to sound nonchalant.

When she saw Conner just walked away leaving her alone. she shrugged. Why he is so moody today? Or is it me?


Julian chuckled. "Yes, Im asking you. But if you don't want..." he shrugged.

Catherine looked around and saw some quests where eavesdropping on their conversation, "I have no choice now." she took his hand and pulled him to the dance floor as a new music started, "I never hear the end of it if mother knew you asked me to dance and I refuse." she grumbled as she try not to step on his feet.

"Lord Riverdale." A soft murmur made him turn around before he can even exit that hall. He masked his grumpiness with a grin and bowed at the group of ladies who cornered him.

"Lovely evening filled with lovely ladies.." he said charmingly. And the women started of with their usual remarks of how good he look and graceful he danced.

Julian gave her a mock heartache. "Don't say that, my lady. You broke my heart."

Judith crossed her arms above her chest when she saw Conner talking to a group of ladies and stomped her leg to find the rest of her friend. "Bloody rake." She muttered under her breath before she started to walked outside to plan her new mischief.

With that Catherine actually smiled, "Don't say that. Its my pleasure to brake your heart." she said.

He was growing irritated with the ladies flocking around him, but he tried dodge a few questions about himself and about him dancing with the Duke of Hastings' younger sister. He had to get away from there or he'd go crazy.

"Scream fire or pretending to faint." she kick the grass while her hand playing with the leaf. "Im so boring."


"Ouch. Please dont that. My fragile heart can't take it." He joke with her.

Royce shook his head as his sister tried to get away for the nth time. Annalisse wants to hide under some plant and disappear but he won't let her. If he suffers, she suffers with him.

Annalisse hates her brother. She glared and stomped away but again to be dragged back. She hates parties but is very particular in meeting new people. She hopes they won't be too fast in judging her.

She shook her head giggling to herself, "Its either a fragile heart or you don't have one." she said jokingly. She looked around as they dance, "Have you seen my sister? Or my brother?" she asked

Conner grinned wickedly as he got away from the ladies flocking over him. He stood at a corner, adjusting his cravat and looking around the crowded dancing hall. He would rather find someone he know or someone he can bare the presences of and no annoying ladies.

Victoria was not fashionably late, she was really late. She had a problem choosing the right gown and jewelry. And she could find her brother, she was supposed to be going with him. It was proper and yet Marcus was no where to be seen. She sent everyone she seen her perfect smile. A few friends approached her and had a short chat. She got to find Isadora or her brother, Marcus.

Royce smiled but winced when he hears matchmaking mothers call to him. He hurriedly pulled Annalisse far away from those meddling bodies.

Annalisse smirks as his brother took her away. She can't wait for him to be cornered by those ladies. Maybe she should leave him but decided against it. She doesn't want to be swarmed by rakes as much as he likes to be with the naive chits those mothers want him to marry.
