Katie, I know you would like some more people to join the group before we start our discussions, but would it be possible to maybe set up a thread where we could place ideas for books or series to read in 2013? That way maybe we could start in January depending on how many members we have and begin setting up a book poll.

I like that idea. There will be a post set up tonight for nominations then a poll in a week to pick our January read. I'm really excited to start

That's what I named my Kindle. (It's easy, backwards or forwards, it still spells Bob)

oh my sweet litter of kittens! i just whatched nightmare on elm street for the first time! I hope i will be able to go to sleep again.

I hate horror movies!

I watched nightmare on elm street when i was under ten. I used to watch horror films all the time, but now I can't do it. Haha

lol it's hysterical sitting beside my mom during a movie that's even slightly suspenseful.

I watched one other movie that freaked me out. It's called Doney Darko. I think he had scitsafrinia? He kept on seeing this guy in a bunny suit called Frank. That was the scariest bunny suit ever. Look up pictures of it. The worst part is that I have a puppet of a bunny hanging in my room.

i don't realy know of that many actors. to me it ruins the movie, but some of them are fermiler.

I really enjoyed Donnie Darko! There's also another one out called S Darko which is about his little sister. But yes, Donnie Darko had schizophrenia. Jake and Maggie Gyllenhall play in that movie. Maggie is Jake's sister and plays his older sister in the movie. hehe

I don't like Maggie as much. She's not as good of an actress as Jake is an actor.

I'm not a big fan of Maggie either. I think Jake is an amazing actor though!

I feel left out. I don't know much about them. Hahaha

that's ok. today i watched the new spiderman movie and it was AWESOME!!!!

I've been debating on whether I want to watch that or not. I keep asking myself if a new one really needed to be made. :)

it is more like the comics. i don't like the guy who plays peter. :( watch it! you only live once!

i liked the new spiderman. :) thought it was darker, more fun in my opinion. You should watch it, Becky. ^^

I did, yes. He was adorkable! I LOVE adorkable! Far more nerdy than Tobey McGuire ever was and I think that's important, especially for the role of spiderman

New guy is like adorable and toby is like... geek,nerd,strange looking. but of course only when he plays peter parker. other times he looks normal... is that just me?

haha, nah... Tobey was already well known for his acting, so he didn't impress me as much as the new guy did! The new guy is tall and lanky and so adorably dorky. I could see the new guy playing video games at 4 am and building something for the science fair! Tobey I can't see doing that. Him I see jogging at 5 am for exercise and looking sexy in a pair of glasses. (but, that's just me.)

I thought Andrew Garfield did better, although Tobey did good as well. The main reason I liked the new one better was the fact that I can't handle Kristen Dunst. Emma Stone was a much better choice for the girlfriend.

I agree with the girlfriend. I hope they make a 2nd one!

I've always thought I would like comics, I LOVE Tintin, but I've never read any superhero ones or anything.

My Booksamillion has all of the old ones for a $1. That was the best day ever. (cue sponge bob singing Best Day Ever)
