@Nate: great list. I added about half of these to my to-read list.

@Geoff: another great list! And I agree completely with your paragraph about Goodreads. I've been exposed to so much good literature that I would not otherwise have been exposed to. Goodreads should be recognized as a form of post-graduate higher education.

Thanks Jimmy! And I know. We deserve some sort of certificate or at least reviews should be resume-worthy or something. THE WORLD IS UNJUST!

Also, I've been adding a few books from the Best of 2012 lists. Great looking stuff on there from you guys so far.

Sorry to post and run before, but thanks! And thanks Josh, Jimmy, and Geoff for all of your lists. Jimmy, it looks like I really need to track down that Felisberto Hernández collection, in particular.

Oh, and I really need to mention that Marcel Schwob's Book of Monelle is a late but essential 2012 addition.
