Silver was having the nightmare again. It was the one where she saw her mother get murdered. She trashed around in her sleep, whining and growling. She woke up, her eyes wide with fear. Taking deep breaths to calm herself, she decided that a walk would do her some good. She stood up and shook the dust out of her fur. She stepped outside the den, looking up at the night sky.

Dark turned around to see Silver leaving her den. He wondered where she was going, but decided not to bother. He rolled back over and shut his bright green eyes before going back to sleep. Trying at least.

Silver walked out of the camp and into the forest. The forest was silent except for the sound of her breathing and the chirp of the crickets. She headed for the one place where she could relax and think. She looked around her once she reached the edge of the forest. Seeing that no one was there, she walked into the meadow. She really wouldn't have cared if someone was in the meadow. As long as they didn't bother her, they were allowed to be there. She snorted. It wasn't as if she owned the meadow. She walked to the center of the meadow and sat down.
