Whisper crept quietly through the woods as she tracked a rabbit. She followed the scent through a stream, a briar patch, and a thickly wooded area. She sighed with relief as the scent grew stronger when she reached a meadow. She knew that she looked like a mess with thorns in her wet and muddy fur. She had a thorn stuck in her paw from when she stepped on it. Quietly cursing at the pain, she peered through the brush. She could see the rabbit munching on clover and she smiled. The creature wouldn't know what hit it. She crept towards it, ignoring her aching paw. She waited until she was two feet away before she sprang on it, her jaws snapping down on its neck like a bear trap. She smiled, pleased at her catch. She was a few days out from the Pack's camp, near the western border. Out here, there was no one to take orders from. It was just her and the wilderness. She decided that after eating the rabbit, she would patrol for a couple more hours before settling down for the night.
