Adrian but I agree, not for Rose. Her and Dimitri were meant to be. I would definitely pick Adrian for myself though!
I loved Dimitri and rose together. and Adrian and me lol, joking (maybe not). I always loved Adrian, but I've always felt like Dimitri and rose belonged together. Adrian should just come to me haha
I like Dimitri because his is strong and has this 'saving damsel in distress' factor...I love Adrian because the most toughest battles in life are fought in your mind...
I love Sydney and Adrian in Bloodlines though:) I just didn't ever like Rose and Adrian together. Dimitri and Rose go together a lot better.
That is hard because I love them both....Dimitri is tall, dark, lean, and handsome, while Adrian has those eyes, body, face and his way with words....gosh this is difficult, but I might pick Adrian...but it might change again..lol

Definitely Adrian. I hate Rose for using him.

DIMITRI. I like Adrian as a character. I'm barely on "The Golden Lily" so to me he still has a long way to go for me to really love and admire him. I never liked him & Rose together though. The weren't compatible.
As for the using thing. Adrian always knew how she felt about Dimitri, he was the one that insisted on her giving them a chance. And she was (view spoiler). But Adrian always knew. He can't play the victim, as he always does.

i have always loved dimitri... until he went all self sacraficing in the 5th book i have also liked adrian but hated him with rose i like him with sydney but don't think i could ever be attracted to a guy who smokes... even in books
I love Dimitri. I think he is such a great person and he just fits so well with Rose. I agree that his self-sacraficing tendencies in the 5th book were annoying, especially when he said he didn't think he could love her because that was bs. However, I think his reaction is natural for his overall personality and its his determination, loyalty, and moral responsibility that makes me love him. :)

I love Adrian. He's quirky attitude and the fact that he uses his energy to be creative, ah. I'm glad Mead brought him into the Bloodlines series. I felt he got cheated with the whole unrequieted love with Rose. I like Dimitri only in Shadowkiss.

She kind of used him in LS, along with a lot of other people, if you ask me. And I love him even more with every book, if possible. I just love him and Sydney together too!
I like Dimitri and I like Rose better when she's with Dimitri. Adrian is too party animal/playboy for me. I sometimes felt he was slumming with Rose to upset his father, but Rose was using him for companionship, but I think Adrian cared more in their relationship.
I like them both very much, but I do not know which one fits Rose best. I fell in love with Adrian as I got to know him a lot more, but I did fall for Dimiti immediately. I don't know who I love the most :O
Seriously I think the Vampire Academy series is trying to kill me. I've actually had to stop and take a break because I'm so involved in this series. So glad I gave it a second chance and I'm really looking forward to the Golden Lily. I"m definitely Team Dimitri for Rose but I do love Adrian and am looking forward to him and Sydney together!

I agree, Emily. I think Dimitri is a bit over rated. I don't hate him, and I like him with Rose but Adrian is just more my kinda guy.
Hmm can I comment if Ive only read books 1 and 2 lol. As soon as Adrian was introduced I thought it was an easy choice :) As long as he doesnt do anything completely hideous..
In Vampire Academy I liked Dimitri better, but because of Bloodlines Adrian has completely won me over with his bad boy who is actually nice - attitude :)
I think Adrian is a much stronger person. Dimitri's conflicts are typically physical (Fighting Strigoi/his dad etc.) and when it comes to those he is often called a 'warrior God' but when he is attacke mentally or emotionally, he doesn't know how to function.He retreats from or ignores Rose's advances in Frostbite and then when he finally gives in, he puts regulations on them i.e. waiting until she's 18 and graduated. After he's restored back to being a dhampire, he can't face the things he's done and once again retreats emotionally but lashes out phyically the first chance he gets (when attacking a Strigoi in LS or against the guards in SB) because those are problems that don't require him to think or feel. He can simply solve the problem with combat.
Adrian is the complete opposite. His conflicts are centered around emotional and metal struggles with his constant battle for love and his own sanity. When it comes to physical confrontations, he doesn'y seem all that concerned for himself i.e. joking about te black eye he got from the fight with Avary Lazar and throwning himself infront of a Strigoi to protect Sydney even while handcuffed.
Most importantly, Adrian has an amazing talent for 'bouncing back'. At the end of LS he left heart broken, angry and alone after Rose cheated on him and his mother is imprisioned. He mopes and is clearly bitter but still doesn't hesitate to take a huge leap and embrace his growin feelings for Sydney. He gets depressed and usually resorts to booze as a distraction but never truly gives up even when he seems to think that he's fighting a losing battle.
That's why I think Adrian is much stronger and more entertaining character that Dimitri.
I like Dimitri but after starting the Bloodlines series I absolutely love Adrian, like I liked him before but now there are no questions about it. Dimitri is fine but... Adrian, yup love him
Adrian. For sure. Although, he might be getting a pity vote because rose is so awful towards him....
I personally love Dimitri with Rose and think he makes a better match for her than Adrian but I love Adrian as a character and have a total book crush on him. Okay, that's an understatement, let's admit it. I love Adrian!
