i like sooo many different kinds of music but.. alter. is deff. my faav!!!!!!!!

umm... scott? have you ever heard Ben Kweller? he's not my fave, but if anyone is making 'noise' it's not him. when i first heard his music, i thought he was country. nope.

i absolutley love alternative. it is my life! indie too.

I love alternative music

I love alternative music, the moody, kind of edgy stuff. Not really into the Blink 182-esque stuff though.

blink 182 is pop-punk, and i agree, although i listen to a little of that stuff.

pop punk isn't really alternative in my mind. first bands i think of when i hear alternative:

spoon, weezer, decembrists, rilo kiley, idlewild, fiest, smashing pumpkins, etc.
(not all my faves, just alternative music i hear at home)

I don't think of it as alternative, but pop-punk seems to be thrown in with it. Alternative can be the potpourri category for music at times.
