Scott McCloskey | 50 comments So, I thought we could have a discussion about what we all do either to relieve stress, or just take a break from life. Writing is a passion, but it is also a committment. I for one know that there are times when I need to walk away and get involved in something irrelevent and entirely non-prductive :)

The fate of the topic creator is usually to go first, so I'll share my strange one as of late. I've been playing Dynasty Warriors 4 on my PS2 just before bed every night. I work, I go home, I hang with the family, I get on the computer and write/promote...and then I just feel that I need to slaughter ancient digital Chinese warriors by the hundreds. I yell battle cries at the screen and wade into the fray until my wife looks at me funny :)

So what do you do?

Ginny Atkinson (djinn) | 37 comments I draw silly little cartoons and play Call of Duty when I feel the need to step away from my writing. Also enjoy playing board games with the kids. :)

Writing is actually what destresses me. Well, that and a martini once in a while :)
