Symphonic Band Instruments discussion

I have 40 some at the high school.

No idea but if you lived in chesterfeild you could join me on keyboard with me singing I whant to start a band simulor to lemonade mouth

65-79 Members in my band I thinks (Not counting the 6th and 7th grade band)

Nice....we used to have that big of a band....now well...that's not the case.

I have a lot of kids. Maybe 50 or so

A lot of kids in your band or of your own?

There's about 60 kids in the Symphonic Band alone.

We have to do both marching and symphonic band! We cannot pick and choose!

200 in our overall band, probably 80 in our Symphonic Band

in the junior high band(7-8), there's like 90 and in the high school, i don't know.

That is insane...we only have about 40...but you...WOW...I wish I could picture that many!

the high school, well, would be weird to see so few, even though it's for 9-12. it is a little crazy. for once, flutes don't have like four!

I know....we have 6 flutes, 15 trumpets, and 1 oboe...me...and 1 bagpipe player...me!And then the brass and the rest of the band.

the clairenets, trumpets, saxes, and percussion have the most. how is it that flutes and oboe, no one really wants to play?

I have no idea...but the oboe and bagpipes are sooooo much fun...and since you are the only one that plays it...it makes it sooooo much better!

We had no oboe player, and the band director was begging all the flutes to switch and even giving free lessons. All of us hated it though so she moved up the one from concert band.

It is fun to play it...one of you should have!

We have like.. 7 oboes

JEALOUS....I am the only one that plays it in all of my town....and same with the bagpipes!
