The HHP discussion

(The Hallways are filled with traps which activate when a mixed DNA is senced.)

Mark stayed ahead of everyone as he started threw the maze of hallways.

"Whoa, whoa, whos! Guys!" Claire yelled to be heard above everyone, "Do you think its this easy? That we are just going to waltz right out the doors? This place is full of traps!" she exclaimed, remembering long ago.

"I know. They already activated on me earlier." Mark said. What they didn't know was, when he said earlier, he ment while he was being dragged to the storage room, not when he was skurrying to the storage room to free everyone.

"are there alot of them?" Claire asked. She was wondering how on earth they were going to get all these kids out of here.

Mark nodded. "Tons." Mark stopped everyone as they approached a random checkered tile that didn't end till the end of the hallway they were in. "There's one here... Stay on white; Don't even touch the black. It will activate a trapdoor." Mark started deminstrating by stepping on the white checkered tiles and not the black ones, trying his best not to even let his heel on the black tile.

Claire asked him"How far does it extend?". She would have to calculate right to jump across, there was no way for her to know which was white or black.

Mark then realized she was blind. It just came to him. He came back slightly. "Pretty far. Do you need me to help you?" He asked her.

Chase was a little far back from the group, keeping an eye out for Dr. Dragonious and the rest of those nasty scientists.

Claire glanced in his direction with a slight smirk" You are having a hard enough time keeping on the tiles yourself. Let everyone else go across first." She instructed. Grimly she added" And if I fail, keep running.".

"I won't leave anyone behind." He smiled at her even though she probably couldn't see it. "And alright. Everyone else go ahead." He managed to get back onto the non-tile floor without activating the trap.
