Kol got in with the wrong crowd when he was sent to a chidren's home, after he was arrested for the third time he met Grace, who was from England, and is his new adoptive parent. She believed in him and now he's trying hard in Colbie, a place that has more to it than meets the eye. His mother was murdered when he was 11, his father was never around.

Her mother died in a boating accident a couple months ago so the subject is still pretty hard for her. Ivy is always getting into trouble with her dad and a couple times with the law. She likes to break rules.
Personality: Ivy is what you call a free spirit. She doesn't what she wants and doesn't take no for an answer. she is blunt and doesn't hold back when it comes to telling people the truth, even if it may hurt them. She is an adrenaline junkie and a dare devil.

Background:Brayden never really met his parents. He grew up living with his half brother who is twenty years older then Brayden. He grew up believing that parents were people that sent big checks every month. His brother put up with Brayden's type of attitude by thinking it was funny. His brother got married two years ago. When his wife wasn't happy to have a teenage guy being a arse to her all the time, she made him promise to leave by the time he turned eighteen. What other place to go then Colbie? After two years he has became a manager in the music shop and has a two year old son with Ever Moon.
Personality:Brayden is brutally honest because he simply hates liars. He has dry, sarcastic humor that not a lot of people understand. He smokes and drinks, but nothing too hardcore. He's more of a bag 'em and leave 'em sort of guy. He thinks girls are only good for one thing.

Rory's background is somewhat shady. She was born into a family rich in money, yet not in love. Her father was a successful businessman, but on the side liked to regularly beat his wife, until he turned his attention to his young daughter and began to hit her as well. A glimmer of hope appeared when her brother was born. Despite the fact that he was a downs syndrome child. Regardless of this fact, it just seemed to bring the family together, and the beatings became few and far between. Yet eveything changed when she reached the age of 14. They were driving home from her grandmothers house when the drunk driver hit. Her father died on impact, and Rory used her own body to protect her little brother. Her mother, although she survived, was left paralysed from the waist down. It was up to her to now care for her family. The three of them moved to the their current location, and Rory became her mother and little brothers carer. She works to earn money to support them all, and is usually quite stressed out with all the bills she needs to pay. As well as making sure there is always food in the house. She also suffers from severe migranes, but is forced to work through these for the sake of her family. She keeps all this hidden from the world though, putting up her 'facade' again.

From the outside, Rory seems to have it all. Large sums of cash, nice big house and always smiling. Yet behind closed doors her life is crumbling before her eyes. Her mother seems to be becoming weaker and weaker and her brother beginning to become a handful. Yet she powers on, because Rory never gives up. She never, ever gives up on people and never judges or stereotypes either. She works hard for everything she has, and reminds herself to stay strong and to never give in. She manages to plaster a smile on her face everyday, to laugh along. But its all a facade. Truley Rory is a kind person, possibly a little free spirited and overly adventurous but on thw whole a good person. She is painfully stubborn, and paired with this is a quick temper. She has a sharp mind and witty tongue, although for the most part she remains silent.

Kaylee is a round about country gal, with an all consuming passionate love for old cars. She can be very dramatic at times, but is always an optimist, leaving smiles in her wake. She's a music fanatic and has a contagious bubbly laugh, as well as a love for Irish setters. In her darkest moods on her worst days, Kaylee lets out her frustration by racing her jeep down the freeway, top down, blasting Keith Urban.

As said before, in Kaylee's background, Coltan grew up in Georgia with a pretty happy childhood, filled with good memories. Although, his ride wasn't as smooth as his sisters. It was at age 15 that Coltan went to Juvy for the first time, for continued auto theft. He was in a rebellious stage, angry at life and his parents for pressuring him to match his sisters perfection. After release, Coltan turned to music. He shut himself out from the world, loosing his friends and baseball scholarship. Lyrics were his only companion. Part of the reason for moving to Colbie was for him, to give him a fresh start, to help him shape up. For the most part, Coltan doesn't care where his parents drag him...as long as he can bring his guitar.
Personality:
If Coltan doesn't ask for your opinion, he doesn't want to hear it. He minds his own business and tends to separate himself from others; in other words, hes rather aloof. People just tend to annoy him, because all they do is drag drama around with them. However- Coltan may come off with a dismissive attitude, but under all the layers of his lonley facade he's hiding the guy he left behind when he went to juvy..the guy that was a charmer and a social bee...the guy that loved to play baseball and got good grades. Coltan has a hard time opening up to anybody, so don't expect to make easy friends with him and learn all his deep secrets, because it's probably never going to happen. He prefers his own company, lost in his scribbled down lyrics and tune of his guitar.

Harley Grew up in Ireland and lived there with her family(Parents and two older brother's) till the age of 10 when she moved to Colbie. Colbie was a bit of a shock for her because of it's size. It was so small and she was used to the living in the City. Harley felt like an outsider for the longest time, but soon started to make friends, but they weren't the kind of friends you wanted. The friends introduced Harley to drugs at age 15 and she quickly became addicted. She started to become crazy and very sick from them so her parents sent her to rehab almost a year ago. She has just gotten back from rehab and is completely clean from drugs, even though she is tempted some times.
Personality: Harley is quiet and reserved at the moment. She is afraid to make friends again because her last 'so called' friends got her into the drugs and she is afraid that she might fall back down that path again. Harley is genuinely a loving person and cares for people. She tries to help out when people need it.

Lilibeth Florence Garcia was born in the heart of spain to a couple very much in love. Her childhood was relativly good with a stable home, along with 3 younger siblings whom she absolutely adores. At the age of 13 Lily and her family moved to Colbie, and she has been there ever since. She is very much involved in the community, in fact she is one of the more helpful people. Willing to lend anybody a hand. A somewhat big tradgedy struck her when she was merely 16 years old. She was attacked and sexually abused on her way home from her waitressing job. Her attacker was caught and arrested, yet she was left pregnant. And being the sort of person she is, Lily went through with the pregnancy and gave birth to a baby girl.
Personality:
Lily is a very much vibrant and happy character. Nothing seems to get her down and there is always, without a fail, a smile plastered on her face. She plays the sexy mother roll. Although since having her daughter she hasnt dated at all,this just adds to the men of Colbie seeing her as more desirable with her generous, killer curves and genuine personality. Nobody can not like Lily. She is just a likable person that is able to fill awkward silences with mindless chatter. She is a very loving character, an excellent mother. She can be a little bubble headed at times, but overall she has her head screwed on right and knows where she wants to go in life. Lily owns a small vintage shop in the heart of town and gets good business there. Despite her young age. Although she may seem perfect she has awful nightmares, and in turn this has lead to her becoming insomnicatic. During the nights where she is unable to sleep, Lily turns to her art work. She isnt lacking in confidence, nor does she come across as 'cocky'. She is simply comfortable in her own skin. When angry, she often trails off and returns to her original, spanish language. She will never back down to a challenge, and if you dare her to do anything-within reason of course- she is bound to accept.

Background: Josh grew up between a small town twenty minutes away from Colbie and Paris because of his parent's divorce as a toddler. Ever since he could remember his mother, the hopeless romantic, would take him to visit Colbie beach. When he turned eighteen he started working for what started out as a independent film company that has now made him one of the richest young men in Paris. He lives the wealthy life now, with a house in Colbie and a plush apartment in Paris, so he didn't have to actually live with his parents when visiting them.
Personality: Growing up in two different regions showed Josh all he needs to know about girls. In Paris, women flaunted over the English and vice versa. He is playful and loves to make anybody laugh. He respects people that have particular talents, because he assumes he doesn't have one at all. He is constantly busy because of the film company he co-owns, but he tries to set time aside to chill out. He has a sweet side and tries not to lets it show often. He frequently gives anonymous donations to local charities and schools. He is known for women saying yes to him and practically begging for his attention. Who wouldn't want a wealthy, attractive man that speaks the language of love?

Background:Bruno Cyrus Delacroix and Avelina Padra D'Evreux were two young twenty-five year olds whom fell in love all the way back in middle school; Bruno aspired to be an Astro physicist whilst Avelina fell in love with the idea of becoming a Quantum physicist. That was their first sign of being meant to be-- two aspiring scientists. They wed at the age of twenty-one and Avelina conceived a child at the age of twenty-five. Claudia came out silent--not a single cry passing between her lips. The parents feared her dead, but as soon as Claudia was placed in her mothers arms, bubbly noises erupted from her small throat.At the age of nine, Claudia already realized she wanted to be a Neurosurgeon, a surgical job not much easier than Quantum Physics and she had no trouble qualifying for the job as her lowest grade within her classes was a 93 and that "low" grade was in history; history did not matter in Neurosurgery. Thank goodness… now that she is in college, she is still striving to become a Neurosurgeon.
Personality: At first glance and prejudgment, Claudia appears to be a quiet, pure, and relatively level-headed young woman. Don't get me wrong, Claudia can be all of the above and more in the same senses. When speaking to someone for the first time, depending on the situation and the overall attitude the person conveys, Caudia will be more than happy to talk in friendly, welcoming way. Unless of course she decides to lie about something-- Claudia is a gifted liar. At times, she'll be so full of herself that she won't realize she is lying until it's too late. Somewhat of a sociopath, actually. When Hell decides to drop in, Claudia is rash, harsh, and cruel. She tolerates nothing or no one who is ignorant or arrogant, not to mention idiots will never have a place in her life. If someone talks too much for her, she will go about ignoring that individual for eons.
She is a master at covering up her emotions; she may seem pissed off to no end and full of hatred... when really she is hurt and possibly heartbroken. Claudia knows no other emotion better than anger, and will use it for just about every situation that involved stress, frustration, ect. so on so forth. When a person is demanding of her, she will act out in anger. When someone makes her uncomfortable, she will not hesitate to plant the back of her hand into that person's face. It won't matter who this child or person is, adult or teenager, she will act in violence if things become uncomfortable for her. She had the shortest temper of her family.
If Claudia wants something, her attitude will change drastically if she is dealing with males (no, not sex); she will use subtle seduction to get what she wants. If a man is ever lucky enough to see her in a corset, he best be counting his lucky stars. When dealing with women, it's mostly demands.
Claudia is generally a hypocritical woman; when giving her short lectures and harsh criticism, she may just turn everything around and do it herself. Now of course she knows better than this, but it doesn't stop her from doing it anyways. This, perhaps, is her greatest flaw, and will defend herself even when she is at a certain loss. Claudia is a proud young woman, and will do just about anything to obtain her ego and keep herself a good person in the eyes of the people she surrounds herself with; even if that means hurting another. Naturally then, she is selfish and incredibly arrogant when someone touches on her personality and/or how she acts. She refuses to talk bad about another, but will not allow others to talk bad about herself.
Whether or not this is actually a valid state of mind or not, is ultimately up to the people she is trying to impress. Sure, they may like her right off the origin, but that does not mean they will continue to like her.
When someone verbally says that they dislike her, she will snap back and become the opposite of what most people want to be around; her temper will scare the devil, and it certainly doesn't help she has a short one. How she came upon such a drastic solution to keep people off of her is vague, but from her history, we can guess that it was from the short periods of abuse that she went through as a youth.
She tolerates no form of stupidity or arrogance. As if this were to be backed up, if someone considers themselves beautiful or a late prodigy in something, she would ask you to prove it. What she considers proof is actually hard evidence. She takes your first answer critically, and will accept nothing else afterwards. Choosing your actions and words carefully is a must. If not, you're probably screwing yourself over with her.
Though young, she is extremely mature for her youth. Don't underestimate her. Don't try to screw around with her. You will get shot down and you will burn and suffer. She doesn't give a damn about how good you think you are at something or how talented you may be. If you don't work and do what you're told, you're useless and will be considered so until further notice.
When confronted or placed in a situation that is out of her hands, you best be looking elsewhere for guidance; if you know what's good for you. Keep in mind that Claudia is mature in her own sense; if you ask her for advice or a favor, just know she will do it in her own way and will not listen to anyone else's instructions (unless given first thing). Placing an easily manipulated situation in her hands most likely gives the other Hell. The only way she won't manipulate things in her own way is if the favor is from a friend or relative.
Claudia is a jealous, upright, and incredibly distrusting young woman when it comes to relationships. How she became this way isn't entirely obvious, but it isn't something easily missed. Claudia has always been possessive about her relationships, with anyone. Her foster father had a very clingy daughter, to say the least. It was rare to find her not by his side or not in his sights. If someone insulted her foster father, it was guaranteed they would not come with in a mile of him again without getting a dirty look from the growing girl.
Claudia didn't always have the best of times with her mother, so it's safe to say she doesn't get along with females as well as she does males. Really she is her own stereotype when it comes to such matters. She loathes working with any woman, unless of course they happen to be her friend. But no doubt, Claudia will always get along better with men. The young woman can be rather controlling, and prefers to be in control of the situations she decides to get herself into. She may over do it, but there are ways to coax her out of her controlling habits and tendencies.
