Since my copy of the novel is around 300 pages, a good halfway mark would be at 151, the end of Chapter 11. I personally haven't made it this far yet, but am sure many of you have. So tell me--what are your thoughts on both Rafaela and Tamara? The setting? The history/time period? The writing? Anything at all?
