I'm so excited for this movie! The script is already done, and it was written by Daniel Waters. The producer is Don Murphy.
Who do you think should play all of the characters?

I don't know, but Adrian better be hot.
Wait..Adrian won't even be in the movie, will he? Not if it's just the first book. Hm.

I always find it really hard to pick actors for characters that I see very clearly in my mind. Nobody looks like them!:D

Who would you pick, Emma?

I really want Pheobe Tonkin to be Rose. I think she'd be excellent! Ben Barnes is popular for Dimitri but I think he'd have to bulk up a bit. I'm not sure about the others.
But, I think Johnny Depp for Abe! I know I just jumped a few books, lol.

i don't really know about rose.
i think lissa could be claire holt, but i'm not super sure.
adrian should look exactly like damon in the vampire diaries, but with a more oval shaped face.
ben barnes is exactly how i pictured dimitri, and i'd never even seen a picture of him before! he is perfect!
actually, johnny depp for abe wouldn't be that bad...

Would love if ian somerhalder played Adrian lol. Some people want Nina Dobrev as Rose...I just can't see her playing a bad ass chick lol.

Nah, Nina Dobrev would make a horrible Rose. She's too soft/weak-looking.

Yeah, I agree, Claire Holt as Lissa would be pretty good. :)

And I kind of doubt they'd cast Ian Somerhalder as another vampire in a different movie. :)

they shouldn't cast ian somerhalder because everyone already sees him as damon.
nina dobrev should NOT be rose.
i think drew roy should play eddie.

I'm super excited for the movie!! I think Chris Massoglia should probably play Christian!! He has this badass look about him. As for Dimitri i nominate Steven Strait, but i don't know many others who could play the role. I think Elle Fanning or Anna Sophia Robb are great for the role of Lissa!!

I like the ideas for Pheobe Tonkin to play Rose! I loved her is The Secret Circle.

I pictured Ben Barnes as Dimitri too! I heard that he will not play as Dimitri.

I am soooooooooooo excited for the movie!!! I think Phoebe Tonkin is a great Rose!!!! I imagined Ben Barnes as Dimitri (yes he does need to bulk up a bit, but otherwise he's prefect cause he can even do a Russian accent!!) as for Lissa the only reason I don't think it should be Claire Holt is because I pictured her more as Sydney. Johnny Depp is the perfect Abe since he always plays weird characters and is an awesome actor :) CHASE CRAWFORD as Adrian is the best idea I've heard in a loooonnng time! I think Ian Sommerhalder is a bit to old for Adrian and I just never pictured him as Adrian. As for the others I have no idea :P

Chace Crawford for Adrian all the way :D people suggest Ian Somerhalder cause they look kinda alike, but not that much. But I love em both though in my own ways :D <3

Oh wow now I have to push these books up from my tbr list. I love to see the outcome of movies from books.

I've heard of people saying Ian Somerhalder should play Adrian too but yeah he's a bit too old and not really how I pictured Adrian to be. Chace Crawford on the other hand would be perfect for Adrian (: I think he can totally pull off his character. And I agree with Haley, to me Claire Holt is more like Sydney than Lissa.

Definitely Clair Holt for Sydney cause I think Sydney has like a neutral or pissed off face. Ahaha yup :)

Phoebe Tonkin would be good as Rose in looks, but I don't think I could ever get over Tonkins voice! I mean have you ever really paid attention to the way she sounds? The pitch or tone/whatever, the way she sounds would just throw Rose's character off.

No, not her accent its literally the sound of her voice, the pitch it's just to high and sounds weird lol, but that's just me.

I'm on the fence about Phoebe as Rose (I remember watching her on H2O, I don't know if she would be able to pull off Rose) but I would like to nominate India Eisley for Mia. India with blonde hair. She's like 19 but has that face that looks far younger, and can pull off an attitude, both things that are pretty important for Mia's character.
I really dislike how some people want women in their 30's to play Rose; she's like 18, there's an obvious difference.

Phoebe would not be a good Rose!!! She does not have the right edge. The movies would be ruined with her as rose. No!
I do however agree Ben Barnes would make one hell of a Dimitri.

To me the person who most looks like Rose is Odette Yustman, i don't know about her acting though I've never seen any of her movies

OMG! Yes!! Phoebe Tonkin for Rose. Not sure for Dimitri... Amanda Seyfried could have been Lissa if she was younger. Claire Holt's too well known from vampire diaries

I don't think the dude is right for Dimitri. He just... he doesn't have the Dimitri-ness, you know?
