Alice sat in the soft chair, feeling her teeth with her tongue and hoping that she wouldn't have any cavities. She brushed twice a day and flossed every night, but still there was a chance..
The dentist came in. "Good morning, Alice! You need three teeth pulled, right?" He teased.
"What? No!!" She exclaimed good-naturedly. Her dentist loved to tease her. "Open wide," he instructed. She did so and Gabrielle examined her teeth with a tiny mirror on a stick. He scraped her teeth with a little metal pick.
"Let's see... Seven cavities," he said straight-faced.
"No!" She exclaimed. "I've been brushing every day!!"
He laughed. "Ah, you're good to go," he winked. "Come back soon!"
