Jane was looking around, her axes on her back
She looked at Alex and nodded 'Hey'
Katherine walked down the street, having changed into something she borrowed from Jane, a lace tank top and skinnies with her favorite jacket. She was still fuming that her knife was missing! No doubt someone took it to rile her. Well guess what? It's working!
(pft. Going into town before Raylin. How coincidental.)Raylin counted how much money he'd been given. "Two hundred dollars. He's trusting me with two hundred dollars?"
((XD Well she was in there an hour before, let's just leave it at that))Katherine smiled at a Trainer who was selling flowers. The woman smiled at her and Kat took out a dollar from her pocket to give to the poor woman. The flower seller smiled and gave a lily in return, Katherine's favorite flower. "Thank you," they said to each other.
Raylin spied Katherine and he reached into his pocket for the knife, then smiled and shook his head. He went into a store and continued his grocery shopping for his dad.
((Wow Raylin, Wow XD))Katherine walked on down the street, then she saw the perfect spot in a tree where the sun shone on the dark bark of the trunk. Glancing around quickly, she scaled up the tree and sat on a steady arrangement of branches that shaped like a V. She took out the book she had been hiding in her jacket pocket. Her Latin stories her mother used to tell her. This was one thing she wanted to put in the hideout. Later though.
Raylin made sure Katherine didn't see him, then returned home through the back door so as not to interrupt his father's conversation. He dropped off the groceries, then headed to Katherine's cabin.
She spent a good 20 minutes reading, her eyes devouring each story. It was a thick volume, part of her mother's old beloved collection. The other books were hidden at the house, soon to be transferred to the hideout. She jumped down from the tree and Katherine yawned, looking into the sky. She should heading back to the Camp.
