Hey guys how does this work? I always buy my kindle books on amazon but I've seen people ask for epubs or PDF formats. Thanks

I try and buy my books from smashwords or feedbooks , as they give you the option of which format you want to download your ebook in. I tend to go between my iPad or kobo ereader , being able to choose a format allows me to read on either device.

yup :-) and besides what Suzanne said, you can convert an epub to a pdf, a pdf to epub, mobi to pdf etc.
