by Cassandra ClareI chose this book because it is the first in a series that captivated me and I will never forget! I find myself comparing books and characters to this series all the time, I just love it so much. City of Bones will always be on my favs list!

City of BonesHonestly, I fell in love with this book. It's the main reason I've joined this site. I just love Cassandra Clare's work :)
I have to go with The Fault In Our Stars, by John Green.(Although this book is so special that it shouldn't belong to one single genre. They actually should create a new genre just for it)
