Megan Nolen (meggie1986) | 1 comments I was wondering if anyone knew of any place that I could find native music?? And is there anyone that knows anything about the cherokee alaphabet. I was doing some research and my granny's side is a direct desendant of Sequoyah (sp??) who is the one who came up with the alphabet but I know nothing other than that...

Nathan (natwu) | 10 comments What do you want to know about it? You can look here for some basic info if you want to start learning it: http://www.cherokee.org/AboutTheNatio...

By the way, it's called the syllabary, not alphabet, since the writing system is syllables, not letters.
