You can do this challenge!! I know you can. My aim last year was 60, but hit 75. However, I read more than bocd... this year seems to be a different story at the moment. I want at least 50/50.
Annie, how are you doing? I see you have quite a few Louise Penny books. I'm encouraged to see that . . . I bought Still Life and am thinking I should read it soon.
Kay, I've really enjoyed the Louise Penny books. Great characters and I love the Three Pines setting. I actually started the Gamache series with the last book published, The Beautiful Mystery: A Chief Inspector Gamache Novel, which I received as a gift. Naturally, I had to then return to book 1, Still Life! Just an FYI, Louise Penny will be releasing her next book in the series in late August, titled How the Light Gets In.
15. The Executor's Guide: Settling a Loved One's Estate or Trust16. Estate & Trust Administration for Dummies
Not fun reads, but necessary and informative.
21. The Very Picture of You by Isabel Wolff22. Letters from Skye by Jessica Brockmole
23. A Trick of the Light by Louise Penny
Andrea, This was my first time reading this author, and I will certainly have her on my "watch for" list!
26. The New Terrarium: Creating Beautiful Displays for Plants and Nature by Tovah Martin. Beautiful photographs and a wonderful resource list in the back of the book.
27. Tiny World Terrariums: A Step-by-Step Guide to Easily Contained Life by Michelle Inciarrano28. Terrarium Craft: Create 50 Magical, Miniature Worlds by Amy Bryant Aiello
Elyse, Only the soda bottle type when my sons were in cub scouts (smile!). I'm hoping to create something a bit more sophisticated this time around. I've been looking for something different to dress up my library/office. Have you made any?
My sister-in-law has made a few. She's pretty crafty. I wish I had the patience and creativity to be crafty. Lol.
Elyse, Not only do I wish I had the patience and creativity, but also the time! In all honesty though it's probably just how I prioritize - read a book or build a terrarium...
Lol 2 birds, 1 stone. Reading about terrariums so you can read and then you have the knowledge on terrariums should you have the craftiness, creativeness, and time! Lol
