What One is better The Book Or The Movie (I know the other 2 movies in the series are not out yet but up to this point)

I haven't read the book, but I am going to start it next week when it gets off hold at the library, so I am going to say movie!

The book naturally, although the movies bring Tolkien's creation vividly & clearly to life.

I am a Tolkien fan, so i would have to say the book that started it all.
