ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! It is so wonderfully written and amazing. Was so upset when I finished it!

(view spoiler)[ I'm so glad Tohon is dead or half way to death. That guy is insane, can't believe he thought Avry would over look everything he has done and love him. That guy is delusional. I was so upset when I found out Wynn was a traitor and Cellina's sister, I really thought she was a friend and was truly shocked. And finally Kerrick is back! But if he dies... I'm going to go mad. Absolutely love Kerrick and Flea, my two fav characters and would be so heart broken if something happened to them again. (hide spoiler)]

Loved this book, there was something new in each chapter that I never had a chance to be bored. Very good book!

Vamika, (view spoiler)[ I have to say, I was really surprised about Wynn too...although I did think something wasn't quite right when they left the cave.

I'm really in denial about Kerrick, I know he's dying but I don't think it'll happen...Avry has to find him in time...or the lilies will bring him back to life. But no part of me thinks he'll die <= hence the denial lol.

I'm thinking Avry will take Kerrick to a Peace Lily to save him since he has magic. And I was really not expecting the betrayal by Wynn, I was thinking a really nice reunion with Kerrick and Avry was goning to happen but I love the ending. Can't wait for the next book!!!! (view spoiler)[I am sitting in a corner rocking in the foetal position right now! HOW CAN SHE DO THAT TO KERRICK AND AVRY?! AFTER ALL THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH! If he and Belen die I will never read another of her books! I finished reading it about five minutes ago (I needed some time to recover) so I may mellow out a wee bit after a few months, but probably not! I totally stand corrected about only reading this book once the third is released, its going to be the hardest wait of my entire life! Tohon is one sick son of a b****! And I'm slightly worried for Maria V. Snyder for thinking him up, but she also invented Kerrick, Avry, Yelena, Valek (the list goes on) so the world should be safe for now. I am utterly heart broken. This book has ripped out my heart so my times for so many characters that I don't think it will ever recover. Kudos for Maria for writing a book that still has me bawling ten minutes after I finished read (I have to keep stopping writing to dry my eyes and blow my nose!), Wow this is one long spoiler! so here I will end, but expect me to be back once I've calmed down a bit! I have to say I was so shocked by the ending that was just cruel I agree with you on this one becky.

I loved the book up until the part (view spoiler)[where Kerrick is dying I was like no you can't kill hi it's not right not fair, he was wanting to have a family with Avery it was sad, they can't let him die I will cry my eyes out if he dies. I am very mad that I have to wait a year to find out though cliff hangers plain evil, then what about poor Avery she doesn't even know yet that part will be so sad(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
