The Fault in Our Stars by Jon Green --- I must begin with why I don't like books by and/or recommended by Jodi Picoult...before I admit why I crazy-loved this book.
I refer to Jodi as "dead kittens," as I feel her writing is motivated by a bucket of dead kittens, refreshed on a weekly basis to keep her little black cloud of doom churning out sad tales of adorable children dropping dead.
That said, even with her professed adoration of The Fault in Our Stars, I read it. I read it because every day I hear about it's general awesomeness. A fellow librarian proclaimed it the best book of 2012 and Goodreads voters loved it as well, so I caved.
I can say definitively that this may have been my favorite love story. Hazel and Augustus are smart, snarky and I rooted for them in spite of Jodi.
When the inevitable occurs, I cried like I just received a special delivery bucket of dead kittens of my very own, and yet, like all before me, I will tell you it was a tremendous book. I laughed as much as I cried and I would heartily recommend it.

A couple weeks ago I finished A Wanted Man by Lee Child but forgot to add my comments. Jack Reacher (or more like the author Lee Child) doesn't disappoint. Wrong place wrong time or is it more like right place right time to right the wrongs which were committed. If Jack didnt then who would? The bad guys would get away with it! I also like this one since there were many references to Kansas City, which were accurate.
