Quote: "They had reached an accord, and now Floyd's anticipation swelled to fervency."

Oprah's Note: I wrote that line down too, but "with these small gestures they agreed"— there's that moment when you know. You don't have to ask "what does she mean?" Everybody's been in that moment; first kiss, first sexual encounter. It's just agreed; it's going to happen.

Moon Rose (M.R.) (verhonica_myrrh) | 5 comments Reading this book with Oprah's notes is pretty much overwhelming on my part. It's making the reading experience extra exciting. It's not just delving into the mind of Mathis, but most especially into Ms. Winfrey's mind as well. It's two great women opening up their soul to the reader.

I guess the best part is like literally reading the book with Oprah! Awesome!

Well said.

Karen Krstinovski | 18 comments 100% agree, we have diffidently been there and is the one thing that stays with you for the rest of your life, nothing can ever can that moment.

I think this chapter indicates his search for power. Six's journey from feeling powerless to finding power.

I agree with this completely.
