Operation Book Read discussion

On page 100 but working all day 9-6. April said she is on page 30 of blindness. She is working all day and going to school dance tonight.

Hey Ev, what is a Macadam. He uses this word alot (3 times so far)and I am guessing it is some sort of asphalt or road covering. I usually dont run across words I dont know and I could look it up but wondered if you have ever seen that word before. PS I am on page 105 and reading tonight. No County for Old Men is on HBO and if you watch the movie it is easy to see the same author. Hardly any dialog, no one even talks for the first half hour of the movie.

hey. Macadam is pavement made of layers of broken rock and stone and stuff. i never hear of it here, i think it's like a southern thing. Like soda or pop kinda thing. I finished the book yesterday. I want to see No Country for Old Men now.

EVAN I cant understand this stupid website. I tried to add the book I picked to currently reading and couldnt do it. Will you please change The Road to our read list and add Shutter Island by Dennis Luhane as our new book.

Ok. done. If you enter the name of the book on the search thing at the top, then click add to shelf, then select currently-reading, that's how you do it. I just checked and they have shutter island available at my library, I'm gonna get it tommorrow.

Hey Ev, I didnt get anytime to read this weekend at all. On page 320 should be done by wednesday. Saw the new book, will get it ASAP.
