John Grisham is truly back on form with this novel. Some things I was able to guess at, others I was way off base. These are my favourite types of books - layers upon layers, slowly reveal the plot and the twists - what a joy to read!
I've never read a John Grisham novel, perhaps I will make this my first one :)

Are the books following "The Colour of Magic" worth picking up? I liked that one, but my TBR list is already so long I hadn't really thought to pick up any of the others.
Mackenzie I've only read The Color of Magic and Mort. I like his work but not enough to read unless one of the groups I belong to list it as a challenge.

I tried to read that book a few months ago and ended up abandoning it when the due date came for it at the library. I don't remember why, but I just couldn't get sucked into it. Perhaps I will have to try again someday when my TBR pile is a little smaller ;)
