I haven't read it, but it says in the description the main characters are twin brothers.

This is worth looking into.
I had a long night with Harry Dresden and I have to admit that his vampire half-brother is not that bad at all...
Blood Rites
Blood Rites
I have to add Reaper here, and whole Soul Screamers series, if you wish. I don't like books centered on girl character, so I don't like the series much, but Reaper is great.
And I don't get it how it is possible that I haven't add Brigid Kemmerer's Elemental yet. I especially liked the second book Spark

Wow, this is really full of action! I still wonder how is it that they are still alive at the end of the book!

I'm now completely lost in the world of Sherrilyn Kenyon. She's got loads of brothers, but I miss action in her books a little bit.
Has anyone read Muffy Morrigan's The Legacy or The Hunt?
I read the excerpts and so and it looks great, but it's like impossible to get a copy in my country... :/

Lover Awakened Not really my cup of tea, but in the end it was really good. I generally love the development of the relationship between the brothers, and that's what I found in this book.

Thanks for your suggestion :) I've already tried to read this series, but it so much reminds me of Cal Leandros series I just couldn't get over the feeling that it's just a bad copy of it...
So you think I should give it another try?

Something about the writing style, or the relationship, or something . . .
How would you compare Chimera and Basilisk to the Cal Leandros series? I've only tried those once and would be willing to give them another shot. ;-)
If you didn't like the Demon Lexicon books on your first try you might want to give them one more chance, but it sounds like something different in our tastes unrelated to the brothers focus will probably still turn you off. I'm sorry I don't have a better recommendation for you. I will think on it some more. I read and loved the Fancher books and the Melusine series and Kemmerer's Elementals series, so I know our tastes aren't that different. :-)
Well, it seems like it's either Cal Leandros or Demon Lexicon, you can't love them both :D
I'd say that Korsak brothers and Leandros brothers are completely different, but... their relationship is somehow very similar. Still, I own all the Leandros books and I'm rereading them over and over again, and I do not own Chimera nor Basilisk and I can't remember when I read it last time. It absolutely doesn't mean that the books are bad (I love them too), on the contrary, it might mean that they are really different and you might like them even if you didn't like the Leandros series.

I see that I concealed Dreamhouse Kings Young Adult 3-In-1 Bundle from you... I'd say that it's for children, so I'm ashamed I've read it - excuse me, I was bored and curious :)

I have to recommend The League, Hauk brothers, Darling and Ryn (and Drake), Maris and Safir, I love them all!

You're welcome! I'm looking forward to reading your book! And I'm always glad to hear from fellow bromancers.

I love Rob Thurman's books, even though they are pretty heavy on the sarcasm.
If I can recommend some bromance books (without brothers but still focused on the bonds of friendship between two men):
The Riyria Revelations by Michael J. Sullivan
Theft of Swords
Rise of Empire
Heir of Novron
Hadrian and Royce are two of my favorite characters, and the books are crazily good.
There is also a series out by new published author Courtney Schafer
The Whitefire Crossing
The Tainted City
Also another great fantasy with lots of action and plot twists, and a great friendship between the two main characters, Dev and Kiran.

Thank you very much for your recommendations! I bet I'll like the books, especially the last one, for I also love Merlin!
Here are some books I didn't like much, but you may like them, who knows...
The Summoning, The Awakening, The Reckoning - foster brothers and girl centered book.
White Cat, Red Glove, Black Heart.
Thicker Than Water - yeah, Felix Castor has a brother... Very strange one...
Tunnels, Deeper - YA, maybe.
Mythago Wood - in the end the brothers are against each other because of the woman.
Nightrise - I actually didn't get it...
Rot and Ruin, Dust and Decay.
Dog Warrior
This Dark Endeavor - young Frankenstein :) This one I actually liked.

Keepers of Arden (The Brothers Volume 1)
(I've just discovered I'm friends with the author, too, apparently. xD)

I've got one to add to the list: Swords of Winter

If I come across any others, I'll definitely post them here! And I look forward to checking out some of the ones already listed!

Oh, I wish for Christmas holiday so I'll have time to read the books you recommended. Thank you!

Thank you, Roxane! I hope you enjoy it!

It is a young adult fantasy book focused on a young Sithe (kind of like fae) boy and his much older brother.
So far, I like it.
Andre Norton - Huon of the Horn - no happy end warning :/
- Lord Of Thunder - it has a potential, still I miss something in the book. Maybe more action would be nice...

And it looks AWESOME. I nearly bought it at the store two days ago thinking that I never win any giveaways anyway. BUT IT HAS HAPPENED! And I am ecstatic.
Will let you guys know how it is.

Yay!!! Congrats! It does sound interesting.

On the UP side, WHO FIRST SUGGESTED

I have to check here more often, for there was no notification that something's going on in here from GR... I share your opinion on teen books - I used to avoid them, but then I read one and now I'm all in. Looking forward to reading those two!

The Cloud Roads by Martha Wells
It doesn't have brothers. It has a little bit of bromance, that I guess will be expanded upon in the sequels. The main character (Moon) has been alone for a long time and doesn't trust that easily, which is understandable. But he had some nice moments with a lot of characters, and I loved those he had with Chime in particular and always looked forward to them.
It's one of the best books I've read this year, and I can't recommend it enough. Especially if you're tired of reading the same fantasy tropes over and over and are looking for something a little bit different!
So, has anyone read Nevermore yet? I'm struggling with it for a month already, putting it down, reading something else, then trying again... I'm currently on page 186 and I just stopped, started reading The Virtu for the thousandth time, just to read something that won't EVER disappoint me...
Not that Nevermore disappointed me, just... there are some really boring parts, and I know that all I'll get when I come through them is a cliff hanger - that's not really a motivation :/
So I think I'll wait for the next book, then I'll continue reading. Yes, this is a rant, but I had to say that to be able to put the book down with a clear conscience. It's still my favourite series, I just hope the next book will be... more like the previous ones.
Sherry said it all for me in her review, by the way.
Still, read it and make your own opinion, hopefully you'll love it more than I do ;)
