Jessica ❀Sparky❀ | 8 comments Well, I think that it's also not fair to add to the overpopulation of kittens when it's preventable. I know that it isn't 'natural' or anything to have them fixed, but it can really be hard to have kittens and nothing to do with them. My friend was going to get her two cats spayed, but found out they were already pregnant. Now they have four cute kittens and another litter soon from their second cat. Almost all of my friends have at least one allergic person in their homes, so it will be very hard for them to find homes for them. I know it may not be fair to the cats to not have a choice one way or the other, but it also isn't fair to the many unwanted cats and kittens who end up euthanized in shelters, or cast out on the street. Just my two bits... *shrug*

Jess (ju5t4n3rd) My mom's friend takes homeless cats in and pays for all the medical treatments like shots, 'fixing' stuff like that. So when she took this one cat in whose mother was having a little too much fun with Tom the cat I fell in love with that kitty. She now is MY cat. I take full responsibility for her (except the litter box). Anyway, I think that 'fixing' cats might be good because, although I'm grateful for Sweetpea being born, that if too many cats are bred that nature will try to balance them out of the world. But I'm not for declawing cats. Nuh uh. I love every scratch my kitty gives me. So that's just my opinion.
