! YA Heroines ! discussion

Valkyrie is quite an unknown heroine in YA Lit as the cover art and male author deter readers away from reading these awesome books. So, don't let that fool you. I assure you, there is romance, quite a good one. But it's not all in your face like some books. It has action, witty humor and a plot that ensnares you in the first chapter.

Well enough about the books and onto Valkyrie. Miss Cain is truely one of a kind. She's funny (in an actually funny way), is amazing in a fight and has Skulduggery as a partner! (you probally won't understand if you haven't read the books). In 1 word she is 'kick-butt'!

I love Valkyrie too. Originally I wasn't a fan of reading until 2 years ago when a friend of mine introduced me a skulduggery pleasant book and I loved Valkyrie after the first chapter. Since then I haven't been able to put any books, with female leads, down.

I love the skulddugery pleasant series I especially like Valkyrie cain I cant wait until the 8th book comes out.

I can not wait to see what Mr. Landy comes up with!

I loved Valkyrie she is super awesome! I read the first book when I was about 10/11 and loved it! I am truly ashamed to admit that I haven't got round to reading the rest...I think I got distracted with Hunger Games and Twilight lol :D

yeah but its not goina be till like 2015 derek wants to finish the series first. but if you think the first book was good you must read the rest of them they are AMAZING.

I've read all the lastest ones and I think Valkyrie has really grown. She's done A LOT. And I'm looking foreward to the movie!
